British Light Tanks

Four menacing light British scouts, from Tier VII to Tier X, are going to storm the battlefields of World of Tanks as part of this update. They sit among the smallest vehicles in the game and boast high concealment rate, good view range and impressive alpha damage for their class. Time to take them for a spin, Commanders!

Personal Missions

We continue our consistent work on rebalancing Personal Missions. This time we slightly simplified the conditions of about 40 missions of the third operation of the second campaign, which rewards you with the Object 279 early. We’re also changing the conditions of missions for artillery, making them more relevant to the new SPG stun mechanics

Customization Update

Starting from Update 1.6, the in-game interface for interacting with decals will become more intuitive and user-friendly. In addition, we’re introducing new rectangular (multi-dimensional) decals, a fresh set of “classic” square decals and new fonts for Personal Numbers. Finally, you can see detailed information about some of the available styles in the game. Read on for a detailed overview of each feature!

Disabling Friendly Fire/Damage

With this update we’re disabling team damage and team kills caused by friendly fire and ramming in Random Battles. However, it’s still possible for SPGs and other vehicles to be branded “team-killers”. A player who receives this status will lose their protection from friendly fire and can take damage from both allies’ shots and ramming.

Premium Account

Players with Premium will be credited an additional 24 hours of WoT Premium Account time to make up for the update maintenance period. If you’d like to make any in-game purchases, please wait until the servers are running again.

Downtime

World of Tanks servers will be down on 7 August from 02:30 to 08:30 CEST (UTC +2).

    1. And a tank even worse than the Rhm Panzer wagon, the Chinese tier 10 light wz132-1 currently the worse tier 10 tank. Atrocious gun and accuracy, slow rate of fire, slow mobility, turret traverse is horrendous. I can solo wz132-1 blind fold in the Brocken OP EBR105. These British lights are tragic, and I’m not bothering to grind for them until they are significantly buffed!

The ebr 105 is not as op as you think lol 190 pen on a tier 10 is not alot as you think and that pen drops over distance too… The heat is not as good either and the view range is 360 so… You need at least a 3 to 4 perk crew to even think about reaching its peek performance.. Yeah its fast and blind lol and the max view range after you spend 4k bonds is 460 without food its 445.. So.. I don\’t see why the thing is op when most of the stats are underwhelming only people who know how to solid snake will master the EBR

        1. Even Claus said that this is a great feature and it should’ve been done a long time ago. There is NOTHING bad you can possibly say about removal of team damage.

          1. Claus is a tool and half of the time he doesn\’t even know what he talks about.

            Let\’s see that list of \”NOTHING\”:

            – You can\’t track morons who are pushing you out to escape from them
            – The enemy will have no issue shooting at brawling tanks as the risk of damaging a teammate is gone

    Either it is \”Lernt die kaum auffindbaren …\”, indicating that there will be near to no players who will play it …
    … or it is \”Lernt die unauffindbaren … \”, indicating that no one will play them.

    Perhaps I am exaggerating a bit, it just made my day.

  5. 3 years ago I would say WOW to new ENG scout line, but in current meta they are absolutely useless 🙁
    No maps for passive scouting, and even if you find place for scouting enemy\’s French road runner will be 50m from you in 20 second, making you a breakfast for stronk small MBT of glorious Red Army…
