There is currently some rage on the Russian forum about the Russian cruisers being glass cannons. Many Russian players compare them to the German cruisers and find them equally cr*p. But then they find nearly all cruisers cr*p nowadays.
Incidentally the developers admitted that there might be an AP normalization problem with some German cruisers, notably the Hipper. Not that I find Hipper’s AP bad, but apparently it was supposed to be even better.
One of the WG explanations for the recent drop in the number of players was the overly successful WOT patch, the one with the new physics and sound.
