WoT Supertest: 🇯🇵Chi-Go In-Game Screenshots & Historical Reference

🇯🇵 Chi-Go (Tier VII medium tank, premium) Based on the tank’s color scheme, it’s clear that it was originally intended for 🇯🇵 Japan, but at the last moment its nation was changed, similar to what happened with 🇺🇸 Jezevec.
Historical Reference:
By early 1945, Japanese engineers had developed their own Chi-Go project based on German technical documentation for the PzKpfw V Panther, with a number of simplifications and compromises in the design. Later, Germany, whose industry was in a difficult state, became interested in the vehicle.

A dismantled prototype was delivered by submarine for research and implementation of simplified tank production technologies.

  1. Honestly, the historical side of this is almost more interesting to me than the gameplay side. The idea of a Japanese take on the German Panzer V Panther is pretty unusual, especially if the devs actually manage to reflect that properly through the model details and animations. By the way, I found an interesting website https://novajackpot.net/ with quick games – it’s a great alternative to those long, drawn-out tank battles. I recommend giving it a try.
