The project envisioned a modern level of firepower and mobility, along with improved crew ergonomics. The gun elevation and depression angles would have been increased, while maintenance was simplified. Most of the ammunition was planned to be stored in a rear turret bustle, making loading more convenient and improving turret balance by reducing the load on the aiming drives. The tank was never built.
