In response to Germany’s development of heavy tanks such as the Tiger I, the Soviet army sought to perfect its own already iconic heavies, with mid-WWII designs often leaning toward super heavy tank concepts. Drawing from machines like the KV-4, the KV-90 is a reimagining of these ideas, many of which never reached production due to the pressures of the ongoing conflict.
A true rolling fortress, the KV-90 is a force built to crush anything in its path. Its 130mm main gun packs a punishing 490 alpha damage punch, which, along with its secondary 45mm gun, makes it perfect for breaking enemy lines and dominating tight brawls. Backed by thick frontal armor, this heavy tank thrives at the frontline. Though slow, the KV-90 becomes nearly unstoppable when sidescraping, using its massive armor to deflect even the most powerful shots.

A solid addition to the KV line! That 490 alpha and the high shell velocity (1,230 m/s) on the main gun look very promising for a Tier IX heavy. The secondary 45mm gun is a nice touch for tracking or finishing off low-HP targets.
However, with only 10 hp/t and 0.40 accuracy, it’s clearly built strictly for close-quarters brawling and sidescraping. It’ll be a beast in the city, but a total “XP pinata” on open maps. Definitely needs a Turbocharger!
