Vickers MBT EXP (United Nations, Tier-8, MT, techtree)
The British Vickers MBT EXP was developed in the postwar years primarily for export to Middle Eastern countries. This focus influenced design modifications that aligned with the requirements of potential buyers.
The tank’s most notable difference from the more well-known Vickers MBT was its significantly improved armor protection. The design aimed to provide a well-balanced combination of combat capabilities. Its 105 mm gun remained effective against opponents, while the diesel engine ensured good mobility. However, for various reasons—including the development of indigenous tank programs by the intended export countries or their preference for alternative suppliers—the Vickers MBT EXP never entered mass production.
