  1. Ka-ri looks super meh. Armor is utter trash, Dpm is ok.. for a medium or heavy, the rest of the stats are ok, -7 gun depression, Gun soft stats ok. Looks pretty big. Very balanced tank.. unfortunately that means this tank is not that worth it if you are looking for tanks like borat, Skoda, bzzz.

  2. Looking forward to Ka-Ri, but the Battle Pass is a big nope. KPz is absurdly expensive (really, 27 tokens? and we thought Cobra for 24 tokens was bad) and Strv 103-0 exists as an alternative, and BZ-58-2 is worthless when 50TP exists.

  3. Only change in this BP is tokens, now you get 12 for free(like it was before) and 12 more(it was 9) if you buy improved bp(hidden behind some collection bullcrap)

    1. hidden behind some collection bullcrap

It’ll be another way to squeeze more money off the players. These changes have no other meaning.

          1. Inflation is a real thing…that said, if WG hasn’t blown off it’s feet with a shotgun it’s real close to that point. That Japanese TD, considering it’s sort of meh (still want it), had better be a marathon tank.

            1. Most new premiums are sold through loot or grind events by now, it makes WG more money that way.

I do hope Ka-Ri will be a marathon tank too, won’t be able to get it for free but I could use a nice discount.

    1. What are you on about? Before the nerfs, BZ-58-2 was better than 50TP in everything but raw alpha damage, now it’s still better but less so.

    1. I think you forgot the jap td also. Shoehorning in a fake late-1930s design is gonna lead to “balancing” in the only areas left. Complete caliber/tank mismatch, complete size/camo mismatch, just bs all around.

      1. As if WG didn’t “shoehorn” in an entire fake line of TDs with China.
But what would you rather have: the 127mm gun on this, or the 105mm autoreloaders Japan was prototyping during the war? Given how popular (it is to hate) autoreloaders (are).

About the size/camo: is all over the place in WoT already. And imo, 14 camo stationary isn’t that different from the Type 4 Chi-To, which size it roughly has (although it is based on the production model chassis of the Chi-Ri instead, with 7 roadwheels instead of the 8 found on the Chi-Ri prototype chassis).

Oh, and its a mid-40s design if we’re to believe WG.
The entire IJA TD branch is early/mid 40s and most of them are (semi-)historical (the t5, t6, t8, t9 and t10 techtree ones). Semi-historical due to, e.g. gun changes.
Not entirely sure how historical the Chi-To SP is.

        1. Oh yeah, CN TDs surly coulda been better using actual real CN TDs. They just used parts from other tanks and bashed together a line. But then they just turn around and use even more imaginative logic on these TDs. All the historical designs are the junk multi-turreted stuff. Just dream up some mid-1940s designs, and then double dream up some non-turreted gun placement on ’em and jack up the armor without change to the running gear. Voila, totally working new tanks to grind.

Considering highest caliber anti-tank weapon japs had in 1945 was 47mm and had to suicide kamikazi the soviet tanks, and no more army or any military after 1945, any talk of pretend-real is the job of WG’s tank description writer. The czech were “inspired” by the soviets, the poles it was student designed (they designed these as refugees in UK?) and “inspired” by the soviets, italians “copied” germans… What are they gonna say with these? They copied germans is the clear and only choice.

    2. Kampfkäsekeil is just bad, imo.

Its “gimmick”, if we can call it that, is that the upper plate is 45mm thick. This gives it better protection compared to its direct competitor Strv 103-0 (whose upper plate is 40mm thick).

Besides that, it is arguably worse than Strv S1 despite being a tier higher and having techtree economy.
