Description of the vehicle:
– After the war, Italy set a course for the manufacture of licensed products, and successfully mastered the production of the Leopard 1 and M60 Patton. At the same time, the development of their own combat vehicles continued, although their designs were largely based on foreign creations. The country’s debut model was designated the Lion. Despite its similarities with the Leopard 1 and Leopard 1A3, the vehicles differed significantly, especially in the turret. The first trials of the tank were conducted in 1977, but the vehicle never saw mass production. After the release of the more advanced Leopard 2 in 1978, the Lion was rendered obsolete. Nevertheless, it was considered a milestone vehicle that provided immense experience and expertise in the creation of other armored vehicles.
A special Tier X Italian medium tank. When looking at the Lion, you can notice the features of German post-war vehicles. The tank is equipped with a powerful and accurate gun, as well as an autoreloading system that allows it to be incredibly effective in supporting allies with fire.
This could be the next CW Reward tank in the Winter Campaign.
I hope not. We have enough tanks locked to clan wars already.
It has way too much DPM for an autoloader, Progetto 65 in comparison has over 1k less (yes one thousand).
One wonders if WG is making clanwar rewards that are deliberately better than their Tier 10 techtree counterparts, because they need to give new toys to the tryhards every few months.
I would like to see 11tier and 12 tier tanks rather than this as a tier 10
