Good Evening Tankers,
Due to a previous error in information regarding the sale of Large Boxes on the North American server for World of Tanks, WGNA has decided to compensate those who have purchased Large boxes within a certain time frame. Which has now been completed.
As a reminder, the compensation is as follows:
- 1 Anti-Duplicator charge per Large box purchased.
- 1,500 Shards per Large box purchased.
As a reminder, if you have not received your shards and/or anti-duplicator charges, you can submit a ticket to WGNA.
Bought my boxes on 12/9 before the notice, still haven’t received anything. All shards I’ve gotten since have been from small boxes and mulching the occasional decoration, and only +3 anti-duplicator charges since earning 12 through the Atmosphere levels. I definitely did get duplicates in my boxes though not as many as I’ve heard others have (45 out of 50 in my Christmas boxes, and 22 and 23 out of 25 in my other two purchases).
Ticket submitted and fingers crossed. I have enough shards to potentially simplify every remaining “Arnie” mission, but an additional 187,500 shards would definitely make it easier to get a better credit modifier.
Good luck, if you have to, provide receipts from your credit card statement with a timestamp. I personally forgot the time, but I remember it was up to 2 hours since the notice was put on their page.
Yeah, and as I recall, they didn’t put the notice up right on 12/9.
Just checked with AMEX – charge was made @ 12:54:34pm EST on 12/9. My other two purchases were just around the same time.
When did they first post the notice?
According to this: https://www.reddit.com/r/WorldofTanks/comments/rdcpon/major_psa_north_american_region_affected_only/
“NA article was corrected at Noon (12PM) Central time on Dec 9th. Compensation is for up to 2 hours after this time.”
This is by TragicLoss who works for WGNA.
Okay, so I’m just BARELY inside that 2h window as all of my initial 125 boxes were bought inside a ten minute window. Thanks for the clarification. Ticket’s in with WG and I updated the ticket with my chat with AMEX support where they gave me the precise timestamp of the purchase.
Never buy with real money imaginary things.
