🇸🇪Kanonvagn fm/49 [Sweden, SPG-7]
Historical Reference:
In June 1948, Bofors presented the first concepts for a fundamentally new self-propelled artillery system. The conceptual inspiration for the vehicle was the American SPG GMC M12. In 1949, the vehicle received the designation Kanonvagn fm/49.
It featured a completely new chassis incorporating both Swedish and foreign components. A twin Scania-Vabis engine setup was used as the powerplant. The main feature of the SPG was the presence of an autoloading mechanism. Thanks to this, the rate of fire reached 10 rounds per minute. The concept of the Kanonvagn fm/49 was well received by Swedish artillery command, but the development of the chassis was entrusted to Landsverk. This decision came during the development of the EMIL tank, and it was decided to unify the SPG with its chassis. As a result, instead of the Kanonvagn fm/49, a completely different SPG was developed, known as the AKV 151.

No option to rent a Chinese premium artillery for ten games as opposed to showing an Ikea closet that still needs to be constructed after purchase. Wallet warrior bias.
