WoT Supertest: Cerbero

The Cerbero is an Italian Tier IX assault tank destroyer. Its gun deals 490 HP of damage per shot, has good penetration values (260 mm for the standard APCR round, 320 mm for the special HEAT round, and 127 mm for the HE round), and features a three-shell reverse autoreloader (the last shell is the fastest to reload).

This system provides the vehicle with consistent firepower regardless of tactical circumstances, as well as the added benefit of being able to use the first two shells at the start of an engagement with no subsequent disadvantage. The Cerbero has good frontal armor on its hull and a limited-rotation turret, allowing it to stay on the frontline, plus adequate mobility, with a top forward speed of 33 km/h.

  1. it takes a certain kind of optimism to call 320 HEAT good pen for a T9 tank destroyer. even the controcarro’s dreadful gold shell is better!

    1. This will surely be a premium product, and the only goal here is to keep the selection as large as possible so that players will actually want to buy a “NEW” tank. The fact that the tech tree can do everything better is nothing new these days. But what good is a “NEW” tank if the game isn’t fun anymore?

    2. now everything has to have 320 HEAT pen and it has to be specifically HEAT and only HEAT and nothing else only HEAT HEAT HEAT

      1. Well, we have a special BP for Predatore, that has APCR as gold, and low pen APCR that is

  2. Me seeing all these new high armor tanks with no weakspots and wondering…how are low pen tanks gonna counter this?

I always complain about the same but with tanks like Jagd88, you can’t do shit. And even some t8s are like these nowadays, not even firing gold you scratch them

  3. The design concept of this Cerbero is quite intriguing, essentially combining “assault TD + reverse autoloading” to maintain stable output while also providing decent burst capability. With 490 single-shot damage paired with 260/320 penetration, it hardly worries about being unable to hit in Tier 9 battles, especially with the HEAT 320 stat, making it highly effective against heavily armored targets.

I think the highlight is still the “triple reverse reload” mechanism: in tight situations, you can fire shot by shot with precision, while at the start or critical moments, you can quickly unleash two or even three suppressive shots. This flexibility holds great value in actual combat. However, players need a strong grasp of reloading timing—otherwise, they may easily run out of ammo and enter an awkward phase.
