WoT: Testing of the Removed Map “Swamp” and Its Cancellation

Level designers decided that an old map (one that hadn’t yet been converted to HD) should be brought back and chose “Swamp.” The map was upgraded to HD quality (it wasn’t converted to improved visuals back in 1.0 due to widespread negative feedback), after which it was tested across three iterations on Supertest (December 2024, May 2025, June 2025). In the end, it can be stated that this map prototype was cancelled.

WoT Fair Play Update: Bans for Cheaters and Riggers

TL;DR:
• Massive ban wave across all regions targeting cheaters and riggers
EU: 4,815 penalized, 1,568 banned, 576 riggers banned
ASIA1: 281 penalized, 62 banned, 15 riggers banned
NA: 143 penalized, 34 banned, 41 riggers banned

It’s of the utmost importance to us to maintain a fair playing field to keep the competitive spirit of World of Tanks healthy and vital. We do not tolerate cheaters or riggers, and their removal from the game can only improve things for everyone else.

Today, we’d like to give an update on the actions we’re taking to protect fair play by keeping players who break the rules out.
