20th Supertest – Project CW (Lodestar), Version 0.0.230.5190

Test Period: June 12 to June 16

1. New Vehicle β€” M551A1 (Agent Anansi)

The πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈM551A1 Sheridan makes its debut in Project CW.

2. Changes to Status Effects

Our team has reworked the status effect system. Here are the updates:

β€’ Status effect duration increased from 4 to 8 seconds.
β€’ Jammed: After receiving this effect, the reticle remains on screen. Screen-space interference and firing distortion have been refined.
β€’ Dazed: You can now shoot while under this effect (previously disabled). Dazed now reduces turret traverse speed.
β€’ Hasted: When using Boost (Shift key), acceleration to top speed is increased. While under Hasted, you cannot gain the Slowed status.

Changes to Status Gain:

β€’ All environmental effects (fire, stats, radiation, slow) now apply their status effects almost instantly. While inside the affected zone, the status remains indefinite and begins decaying only after exiting.
β€’ Burning effect is now percentage-based: Previously caused 200 damage per second; now scales with remaining HP β€” low HP vehicles take proportionally more damage.
β€’ Passive status regeneration increased from -5 to -15 per tick (e.g., with 500/1000 fire status, it now drops from 485–470 rather than 495–490). This includes Jammed, Dazed, Disruption, Radiation.
β€’ Passive fire status regen in water is now -20 per tick, in addition to the default -15.
β€’ Passive fire status regen in smoke is now -15 per tick, also stacked with the default -15.
β€’ Based on community feedback, water slowdown has been reduced from 73% to 66%, and now extinguishes fire more quickly.
β€’ Minor tweaks to area-based status effects.

3. Dynamic Camera System

We’re developing a more immersive and dynamic camera system to enhance gameplay intensity:

β€’ Camera Lag & Rubber Band Effect: The camera smoothly follows your vehicle and gently recenters after collisions, making movement feel more fluid and dynamic.
β€’ Camera Bobbing Effect: Subtle vertical camera sway simulates vehicle movement and physical presence (e.g., another tank bumping into you).
β€’ Aim Assist & Stabilizer: As in real tanks, this system helps keep targets in your crosshair, regardless of vehicle motion or terrain bumps.

4. Maps

Returning maps include: Eden, Moonshot, Inferno One, and Aircraft Carrier.

5. Miscellaneous

β€’ Decoys now inherit the same customization options as their owner.
β€’ Improved respawn system in Kill Confirm: spawns are now closer to allies and further from enemies, with no direct line of sight to enemy vehicles.
β€’ We’ve upgraded projectile flight trajectories and added new visual effects (VFX) β€” overall smoother with no glitches or screen issues.

6. Gamepad Support

Improved overall gamepad performance and responsiveness.

7. Cross-Platform Play & Multiplayer

Crossplay rules now apply to:
β€’ Player matchmaking
β€’ Custom game room visibility
β€’ Party joining: Both players must have matching crossplay settings

  1. wow, they are actually still working on that? πŸ˜€ Well, good luck. Modern tanks…not quite any game like WoT for these et… AW failed, WT is realistic…this one will be even more casual than WoT though πŸ˜€
Probably a niche – but a real one.
