Historical Reference: A Czechoslovakian light reconnaissance tank, developed as a response to the West German Spähpanzer concept—a light recon scout tank. The work was carried out as part of the “Klus” project. The U.S.S.R. and countries of the Warsaw Pact had no adequate analogues of such vehicles. However, as work on the Spähpanzer in Germany was terminated and since the design was inconsistent with the weapons system of Warsaw Pact countries, the project went no further than blueprints.

Detailed Information on Continuous Fire Weapon System Mechanic: The Vz. 64 features twin guns, a first in the game. This gives the tank a new mechanic: high rate of fire with minimal shell damage. The guns fire alternately with a 0.05-second reload between shells. Due to the high rate of fire, a new parameter was introduced – damage per second. Currently, the Tier 10 version has an average of 240 damage per second, assuming each shot penetrates. The gun’s poor accuracy and penetration encourage flanking to deal damage.

Additionally, the tank will have a new reticle indicating magazine fill level.

This new mechanic will also appear on Tier 9 and 10 tanks in the new Czechoslovakian light tank branch. The Tier 7 transitional tank will not have this mechanic. The Tier 8 premium also has twin guns with this mechanic.
