Initially, KillCam was supposed to be released back in 2023!
Postmortem Mode will appear in update 1.24.1, but it will not be initially supported on maps with random events. Support for Last Minute functionality will be added soon.
With the new Last Moment and improved Observer Camera, the Postmortem mode updates will provide invaluable insights. You will become a better tanker by understanding where the enemy was positioned, the shell used and its trajectory, and how it penetrated your vehicle.
It consists of two independent mechanics:
• Last Moment: Shows details of the shot that destroyed your tank.
• Observer Camera: an improved version of the free camera, which is already familiar to you from “Frontline”. It will only be available in non-competitive modes to avoid unfair advantage.
Last Moment includes long and short versions, allowing you to choose the amount of information you receive. You can change this display option in Settings (Settings – Game – subsection Combat interface – Afterlife mode).
No improvements are planned in the future.
It is on loop or just once?
There should have been a kill cam a decade ago, but alright. Better late then never.
