WoT: End of Support for 32-bit Operating Systems

In a world where technology doesn’t stand still, the key to feeling comfortable is keeping up. Many gaming industry companies have dropped support for 32-bit operating systems (OS) over the past few years. We were among the last developers to make this decision.

Supporting architecture that’s technically outdated can restrict us, as we spend time and resources that we could use to develop the World of Tanks project.

The first stage of this transition took place in September 2022. Since then, we no longer guarantee client stability for players using 32-bit operating systems.

In version 1.24 (starting from the first Common Test), it will no longer be possible to launch the 32-bit client via the launcher or WGC. To continue using the 32-bit game client, go to the game/win32 directory and manually run the WorldOfTanks.exe file.

Support for the 32-bit game client will be ended in future updates.

Please update your operating system to x64 bit in order to continue playing.

Also, be sure to note the minimum system requirements. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS FOR WORLD OF TANKS

    1. Your question would more appropriately be ‘Who the fuck still uses windows 10??’ 10 is the last Windows OS that was published in 32 bit format, presumably used by people who don’t have powerful computers or have some very specific niche need to use 32 bit registry.
