WoT Monthly April 2023: Birthday & Eggstravaganza!

April is a packed month for World of Tanks! Update 1.20.1 brings the latest enhancements to the game, while our Eggstravaganza missions and birthday celebrations provide unique and brand-new rewards! Onslaught also returns with the new Season of the Crimson Griffin. Plus, make sure and catch the final weekend of Arcade Cabinet.

Upcoming Specials and Events

MillionPugs WoT7 Tournament

From April 3 through April 23: The WoT7 tournament returns, and MillionPugs is proud to sponsor the competition with incredible prizes. Prepare to get your paws dirty in intense 7v7 battles and fight for your spot as the top dog. Registration is currently open for the two qualifiers on April 12 and 15.

Then, tune in on April 22 and 23 to watch the finals live, accompanied by expert commentary. Keep an eye out for more on this exciting event!

Top of the Tree

From April 5 through May 5: Take advantage of credit discounts, missions, and offers, with two new Top of the Tree specials that align nicely with the new Battle Pass heroes.

Climb the British Tech Tree line to the nation’s prized medium tank, the XCenturion Action X , or expand your collection of Italian heavies, with their autoreloading mechanic, all the way up to the XRinoceronte —a vehicle that’s as tough as the animal that bears the name.

Eggstravaganza

From April 7 through April 14: Join us for a series of special missions that yield the brand-new Easter Eggs decal and Easter Bunny 2D style. You can also purchase these customization items, along with three special vehicles, in the Premium Shop!

World of Tanks Birthday

From April 12 through April 18: It’s our 12th anniversary on the NA and EU servers, and we’re ready to celebrate with special missions that reward festive inscriptions, decals, and currency that can be used to purchase items from our in-game birthday store. Plus, 1 day of WoT Premium Account, just for showing up. Stay tuned for more on this event!

Onslaught: Season of the Crimson Griffin

From April 19 through May 28: We analyzed your feedback and are introducing some improvements to the 7v7 mode, including reworked vehicle Role Skills and a system with a set of consecutive weekly combat missions. Get ready for two new maps (Airfield and Glacier), and get your hands on exclusive customizations in the reward pool.

Crew is Crucial Weekend

From April 21 through April 24: This special returns at the end of the month to push tank crews to their limits. Play missions to earn valuable consumables and extra XP for the hard workers manning your machines. Plus, take advantage of crew-related discounts and a special Free XP to Crew XP conversion rate.

Arcade Cabinet

From March 31 through April 2: Arcade Cabinet returns with two tried-and-tested game modes. Element of Surprise increases the randomness of every shot, adding more unpredictability and excitement to your gameplay. In Railgun, you’ll experience a significant boost in gun precision, spotting capability, and mobility for your vehicle, making battles more thrilling and fast-paced. Don’t miss the final weekend to try these unique game modes!

Until April 20: The latest reinforcements from Prime Gaming are up for grabs, offering a new Commander, Ciarán Hillen, and a set of themed customization elements. Claim the Shamrock package by April 20 to receive these rewards, along with 1 day of WoT Premium Account and missions for ×5 XP.

Monthly Drops

Until May 8: Get the rewards you want through a fixed set of Twitch Drops campaigns, featuring new missions every Monday and weekend missions every Friday.

Earn tokens by watching the official World of Tanks channels and participating streams, and customize your rewards in the Token Store. Spend your tokens right away for useful in-game perks, or save them up for fantastic prizes, including 2D styles and Premium vehicles.

  • Global Map: Season 20

    Until May 27 (final battles on May 26): In Season 20, Ceasefire days will be introduced on the Global Map. Every Saturday, the state of the Global Map will be frozen, allowing clan warriors to participate in War Games in Strongholds to earn even more gold! As in Season 19, the strongest clans will still get additional gold and bonds at the end of the Season.

    The list of Workshop rewards remains the same, and once the Season is over, the best players will receive the Warrior of the East 2D style, the brand-new Bengal Tiger 2D style, and the new “Guards Lt. Leo and a Malfunction” decal.

Battle Pass: Season X

  1. Given the wording here about patch 1.20.1 in the things coming for April it’s now obvious why there hasn’t been any WG comments on this horrendous patch because they are bringing it no questions or tweaks.
    So that’s it.
    Time to quit.
