Available from January 27 at 06:00 CET through February 5 at 06:00 CET (UTC+1)

The VIIIASTRON Rex 105 mm has plenty of things going for it. From an imposing 5-round autoloader to a 52 km/h top speed and decent 390 m view range, this American medium tank can carry its weight in every situation. Use the great 60 deg/s traverse speed to flank enemies and unleash 1,600 HP of damage in 16 seconds.

Thanks to its low profile, –10 degrees of gun depression, and strong gun mantlet, it can definitely exploit the terrain. However, keep in mind that the commander’s cupola makes for a big target, so cunning and mobile approaches are more favorable than hull-down shootouts.

IS-3A Offers [1. , 2. , 3.]

Available from January 27 at 06:00 CET through February 5 at 06:00 CET (UTC+1)

The experimental VIIIIS-3A shares many similarities with its standard counterpart, but it packs an extra punch to surprise your opponents. Its autoreloading mechanics are unique among Soviet vehicles, offering a great burst potential of 1,170 HP of damage, and ensuring you are never too long without another shot in the three-shell clip.

While its top speed of 40 km/h may not be impressive, its very strong turret armor, low profile, pike nose, and spaced armor make it ideal for brawling and provide good survivability. Those familiar with the standard IS-3 will find it easy to adapt to the Premium IS-3A, but truthfully, any heavy tank commander will feel right at home in this machine.

Rheinmetall Skorpion Offers [1. , 2. , 3.]

Available from January 27 at 06:00 CET through February 5 at 06:00 CET (UTC+1)

Like its arachnid namesake, the VIIIRheinmetall Skorpion is a nimble and deadly predator, always ready to strike an unsuspecting victim. This popular German tank destroyer boasts an impressive stinger with 490 HP of damage and high penetration values. With its 2,409 DPM, top accuracy, and 2.1 s aiming time, the Skorpion is a formidable sniper that can easily ambush opponents or support the team from a distance.

However, as a larger target with relatively poor armor, the vehicle’s mobility and the 60 km/h top speed are crucial to its survival. Use its impressive firepower to catch your enemies off guard and take them out before they even know what hit them.

The Rheinmetall Skorpion comes with the exclusive Panzerskorpion style that adds an extra sting to this dangerous critter.

FV1066 Senlac Offers [1. , 2. , 3.]

Available from January 27 at 06:00 CET through February 5 at 06:00 CET (UTC+1)

No matter the conditions, the VIIIFV1066 Senlac has the incredible versatility to withstand anything on the battlefield. Push behind enemy lines with its 65 km/h top speed and actively provide intel. Use the outstanding 410 m view range to offer support from a distance. Seek cover behind obstacles or ridgelines to put the –10 degrees of gun depression and solid elevation angles to good use. Or easily knock out fellow light and lightly-armored tanks with HE shells from a 20-pounder gun with 1,963 DPM. As you can probably tell, the FV1066 Senlac is one of the most dangerous British light tanks in any collection.

    1. Skorpion is still one of the more popular Tier 8 premiums – not just tank destroyers, premiums in general.

Astron and IS-3A are more niche but they’re still very good if the player has a minimum of competence.

Senlac is the only one that’s a turd, but the only Tier 8 light tanks that matter (and are, in fact, very good) are ELC EVEN 90 and LT-432.

      1. IS-3A is so good now, with the new equipment, and if you have at least bounty equipment and food. I have bond vents and vstab on mine, and i got lucky, ang got the experimental fire control system, and it excellent now. But if you don’t have that, you can use IRM, and it works very well too.
