European Minors
- In the Garage, upon each login, existing players in the EU region will receive a notification asking them to fill in their date of birth in the Account Management section on the portal. As soon as the player enters their date of birth (day, month, year of birth), this notification will no longer be displayed.
- When registering an account in the EU region, new players will have to provide their date of birth (day, month, year of birth) in the registration form. If a player’s age is under 18, that player will have to provide their parent’s email address.
- For players under 18, if a play limit has been activated and configured by parental controls, that information will be displayed in the game client. Upon reaching their play limit, these players will receive a notification stating that their allowed playing time is over, and they will be subsequently disconnected from the server. Access to the game will be restricted according to the schedule established using the parental controls.

Well this is unexpected, though I’m not sure it will do much since kids can be dumb and just input a fake age to bypass parental control.
We live in an age where all our personal data is available on the internet, so maybe WG will be able to catch those who fake their age, but the question is – will they bother to?
I think this is more of a function for parents than for WG. If parents want to limit their childs game time, they will learn about this function and as a result catch those who fake their age. If the parents dont care, it wont matter if the kid puts in his real age or a fake one.
I think WG has bigger and better things to worry about.
Like my mushroom tip
Yes and No. It’s supposed to be a new EU regulation, so they have to comply.
I’m not in the EU so fuck off
