WoT: 1.10.1 Final Patchnotes

Main Changes

Ranked Battles

  • We added a special progressive decal: Ranked Charge. Its level can be increased in Ranked Battles.
  • The coefficients of the “teamkiller” status were revised. Now, a player who systematically stuns allied vehicles will gain the “teamkiller” status faster.
  • We improved the mode’s interface.

Improvements to Equipment 2.0

  • Equipment of an inappropriate class for Tier II–VII vehicles will be demounted once the update is released.
  • The vehicle configuration screen interface was improved. It now displays shell prices and improved indicators for different ammo types.
  • We implemented “drag and drop” as a way to change the order of shells in the ammo rack.
  • Other interface improvements and bug fixes were made.

Changes to the Battle Communication System

  • A special setting to disable markers on the map was added. When disabled, the markers for “attention to”, “going to”, “firing at” (SPGs), and “pre-battle markers” are not displayed. They are still displayed on the minimap and remain interactive.
  • The size of markers on the minimap was reduced.
  • The height of markers on the map (“Attention to position!”, “Aiming here”, and “Driving to position!”) was increased to make them more noticeable at long distances, behind buildings, and among vehicles.

Clans

Tour of Duty (a new functionality for clan players) was added.

Changed FoV for Widescreen Monitors

The FoV system for widescreen monitors was updated. The amount and quality of information displayed increased.

  • Owners of widescreen monitors will notice the difference in the display of information (both vertically and horizontally). The overall image became more convenient and easier to understand.
  • Players who use 16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratios will not notice any changes.

New Full-Screen Interface Control System (hereinafter referred to as FI):

  • FIs are displayed on a new layer.
  • FIs are added to the queue and displayed from it automatically (or manually by the player from the Notification Center).
  • We implemented a functionality that allows opening dialog boxes and tooltips from FIs.
  • We implemented a functionality that allows viewing FIs from the Notification Center after changing the server.

Fixed:

  • Several FIs that have different audio sequences and animations can be opened at the same time.
  • FI notifications and dialog boxes no longer overlap.

Maps

Encounter Battle was added for the following Random Battle maps: Karelia, Westfield, Studzianki, and Pilsen.
Four maps were reworked to address some balance issues: Berlin, Ruinberg, Erlenberg, and Westfield.
Fixed issues on the following maps: Sand River, Serene Coast, Redshire, Dreamland, and Arzagir 4.04.

Revised the logic of vehicle destruction. Now these objects completely absorb only HE (including HESH) and HEAT shells, and other types of shells only lose their armor penetration.
Objects: cars, trucks, tractors, buses, helicopters, airplanes, etc.

Dog Tags

Dog Tags, a very special feature from last year’s TankFest, will be making their return.

  • Your Dog Tag is displayed to opponents whose vehicles you destroyed in battle. You will also see Dog Tags of players who destroy your vehicle.
  • The updated Dog Tags will consist of the following elements: Background and Engraving.
  • The Engraving is the most important part as it displays the main information that your defeated enemies will see. There will be 3 Engraving categories (Skill, Dedication, and Triumph), each of which is designed to show your supremacy over your rivals. Each category has its own conditions to unlock new Engraving types.
  • Engravings of the Skill and Dedication categories can be improved from Level I to X, and the Triumph Engravings from Level I to IV. Their appearance will change. To unlock new Engraving levels, the specified conditions should be met.

New Wwise Sound Engine System

Game features:

  • Significantly bigger potential for further improvements of sound in the game.
  • Memory consumption will decrease (to 15MB).
  • Performance will slightly decrease at minimum and low sound quality presets (up to 2.5%).

Daily Missions Rework
The mechanics of Daily Missions were reworked. The prizes for completing missions will become better and more valuable. The list of rewards was extended to include:

  • Personal Reserves
  • Standard Equipment
  • Crew Skins

The difficulty of some missions was increased to reflect the new, more valuable rewards. Missions of higher difficulty will require more time to be completed.

One thought on “WoT: 1.10.1 Final Patchnotes

  1. Well, if those patch notes are complete, they skipped the price increase for the ammo of 8,8 cm gun. that would mean another buff to Panther 8,8. nice. now if they would buff the gun handling slightly, this would be still nice.

and I still not get, why Obj 140 needs to be buffed. exclude reward tanks from ranked and it would still be THE option to go. but njet comrade, this tank was very weak, it needs buffing!!
