World of Tanks has always been open to modifications and customizations, as long as they are in line with our Fair Play Policy. But we keep out unwanted, cheating, and harmful software that manipulates gameplay and provides unfair advantages. We want to make it clear once again that we have zero tolerance for cheating! Ensuring Fair Play will always be among our top priorities, and we’ll do our best to keep the gaming environment as fair as possible.
EU: Today, we’ve taken another step in this direction and placed a massive ban wave across all servers. In this wave, we’ve penalized 1508 accounts in the EU region. 993 of these accounts have received their first warning, and 515 have been banned permanently.
NA: Today, we’ve taken another step in this direction and placed a ban wave across all servers. In this wave for the Americas, we’ve penalized 187 accounts: 120 of these received their first warning, and 67 were banned permanently. All players who were banned during this ban wave will be removed from the Ranked Battles leaderboard.
ASIA: In keeping with our commitment to maintaining a safe and fair game environment for all our players, we’ve rolled out a ban wave across all servers. In this wave, we’ve penalized 157 accounts in the Asia region. 107 of these accounts have received a one-week ban for their first warning, and 50 have been banned permanently.
RU: Today, we’ve taken another step in this direction and placed a massive ban wave across all servers. In this wave, we’ve penalized 35210 accounts in the RU region. 21962 of these accounts have received their first warning, and 13248 have been banned permanently.
This ban wave will be followed by others in the future, so be sure to visit the Mod Hub to find all the verified and newest mods for World of Tanks. The Mod Hub is the safest place to download various mods for World of Tanks, without worrying about policy violations.
I’d be curious how many of these accounts were ones that were reinstated in the recent 10th anniversary forgiveness gesture . Also, I wonder how many of these are repeat offenders (created new accounts after being banned).
None of the reinstated accounts were originally banned for using illegal mods so the answer is zero.
Regarding repeat offenders creating new accounts, there is no way for anyone to tell.
…and just another way to have publicity on that shit ModHub of WG, you can get banned even if you use from ModHub as I heard from other on this TAP site, but diferent article as I try to recall. BEST WAY IS TO STAY OUT OF ANY MODS. The game looks more fun and beautifull without any mods …. have some good years without any mod, last used was toolkit years ago (at the begining back in 2012, I have tryed all kinds so I know what I am talking about).

I know WG tries to show us they care about fair play, but these posts of theirs feel pointless.
Never mind that we have no way to tell if these ban waves have any effect on game QOL, but with the anniversary amnesty it also feels like a waste of time and resources – why grant amnesty in the first place? If someone won a permaban, they most likely deserved it.
People kept talking about the amnesty. I wonder how many of them actually know the content of it? People get banned for illegal mods weren’t unbanned. Well they would still argue that WG didn’t do stuff as they said blablabla. yikes
Seb, can you compare preban vs postban Ranked Battles Leader boards to find if any big names from top clans are there?
Not really, it takes plenty of time
Import the lists into Excel and.do a compare
Then do it yourself if it’s that easy and send it here
Asia numbers have nearly doubled in cheating, yet number of active players remains steady.
