WoT EU – Historical Special: Battle of Guam

For this new historical special, we decided to look out a battle that may not be as famous as others. This one started in July 1944, and involved U.S. and Japanese forces (including tanks, which is quite rare for the Pacific Front) fighting for the dominance over the island of Guam. This American territory was captured in 1941, and taking it back was particularly tough for the Marines, tanks, and dogs involved. You read that right, Guam was one of the toughest battles for the American war dogs, hence the cosmetics you will able to win through these new missions.

To participate, you just have to redeem one of the codes below and jump into Random Battles from 6 July at 07:00 CEST to 9 July at 07:00 CEST (UTC+2). Remember though: you can only choose one faction for the entire duration of the event.

Allies #1

Rewards

  •  First Allies Token for the “Allies Reward” mission

Objective

  • Deal 5000 damage over any number of battles

Restrictions

  • Only in Random Battles
  • Only in Tier IV-X vehicles
  • Only in American vehicles
  • 3 times per account
  • You must have redeemed the Allies code

 

Allies #2

Rewards

  •  Second Allies Token for the “Allies Reward” mission

Objectives

  • Win 2 Battles
  • A battle counts towards the progress if you are in the top 10 of your team by base XP earned

Restrictions

  • Only in Random Battles
  • Only in Tier IV-X vehicles
  • Only in American vehicles
  • 3 times per account
  • You must have redeemed the Allies code

 

Allies Reward

Rewards

  •  2 Personal Reserves: +300% Crew XP for 1 hour
  •  2 Personal Reserves: +100% XP for 1 hour
  • 6 Wolf emblems (in honour of the Marines’ Devil Dogs)
  • 3 Claw Marks decals

  • Play a battle
  • Earn 3 tokens from the mission “Allies #1”
  • Earn 3 tokens from the mission “Allies #2”
