Supertest: Panhard AML Lynx 6×6

The French Tier VIII wheeled armoured vehicle, the Panhard AML Lynx 6×6 enters closed testing today. We will continue to test new game mechanics and balance settings of the vehicle. A decision will then be made, regarding the final mechanics and performance characteristics for the entire mini-branch, based on the test results.
The current build uses a different wheelbase to the previously tested Panhard EBR, having three axes instead of four. However, it still retains the all-wheel drive from the EBR. The new set of game mechanics for wheeled vehicles will feature on this vehicle.
The Lynx is armed with a 90-mm autoloader with a single-shot damage of 240 points. It follows the general concept of wheeled vehicles; fast and manoeuvrable when in motion but not able to turn when stationary. It also boasts good gun stabilization and concealment, countered by a reduced view range.
Depending on the test results, the specs of the Lynx and the game mechanics linked to it may change.
Follow the news and good luck on the battlefield!

  1. This is going to be such a bad idea.

If anything the armored cars should have been low tier only. Nobody gives two shakes about a post-war 6-wheel go-kart. We want 231’s and 234’s and Greyhounds…

    1. Aaaactually I always wanted the ERC 90 in the game. I have no idea why they call this “Panhard AMD Lynx 6×6”, but it’s an ERC anyways. And I love it.

  2. The idea has all the best intentions, but the meta is not going to be kind at all to a series of blind scouts that have to locate the enemy by braille. The bad pubbies will suicide-scout and die pointlessly in the first minute of the match. The mediocre pubbies will keep distance, try to use the camo, and basically play these like weak turreted TDs. The team will either sink or swim without their help. The good pubbies will probably not even bother playing these tanks in the first place.
