WoT: New SPG missions

Mission 1: A distinctive feature of the shells of your SPG is a greater splash radius. Even if you could not make a direct hit on the target, you can still significantly hurt the enemy by stunning him. You will be informed of it by a stun indicator appearing over the target, which will also be seen by your allies. If your stunned target will take damage, you get credits and experience due to assistance in destruction.

Mission 2: Stunning lasts for a certain time, during which the opponent can not utilize the full potential of his vehicle. Remember, a stunned target is an easy target.

Mission 3: Hidden and dangerous tank destroyers and well-armored heavy tanks can turn the tide of battle in their favor, so try to destroy them (or help in their destruction) in the first place. For the most part, heavy tanks and tank destroyers are slow, which simplifies aiming at them.

Mission 4: Learn the main routes of enemy heavy tanks and places where tank destroyers often hide. Early aiming at the desired area on the map will help to provide the most effective fire. Very often the behavior of these types of vehicles on certain maps is fairly predictable, thus from the beginning of the battle, analyze the teams and occupy a suitable position for firing.
– Main – Stun a heavy tank or tank destroyer of the enemy for a total of 30 seconds or more. The shot that caused the stun should also do damage. (Damage at least 3 modules or injure crew members of the enemy. The numbers of damaged / destroyed modules and injured crew members is summed up for all modules you have damaged in the battle.)

Mission 5: Stunning the opponent, you not only help the team to win, but also earn experience and credits, if the allies conduct effective fire on the stunned target. Don’t forget to highlight the area on which you aim (T by default) to draw attention of your allies.
– Main – Enable your allies to cause at least 600 damage by stunning or immobilizing the enemy. (Cause damage that exceeds your HP by four times. Damage caused to allies is not counted.)

Mission 6: You support the team. It’s easier to deal with stunned targets, so allies will be grateful to you for your successful hits. Remember, a sub-par shot can also stun an ally: try to avoid it.
– Main – Help your allies inflict damage on 2 or more enemy vehicles stunned or immobilized by you. (Destroy at least 2 enemy vehicles of your tier or higher.)

Mission 7: To accomplish this, try to choose different targets and not focus on shooting one enemy, even if he is a vulnerable target. It makes sense to cover large concentrations of enemy vehicles with one shot, and for this, you need to know the main routes of movement of vehicles on the maps.

Mission 8: You get experience for any effective action in battle, so try to deal damage, help in destruction, as well as to survive in battle. Change your position after each shot — this will help to avoid counter-battery firing of enemy SPGs.

Mission 9: Powerful high-explosive shells not only cause damage to the enemy, but with high probability will disable modules and crew of the target due to the explosion of the projectile.

Mission 10: The battlefield can change very quickly, so watch the minimap and try to always keep the targets inside the reticle. For this, you will have to move, and not spend the whole fight at one point. Allies count on your support, so try to provide it at the right time and in the right place.
– Main – The total amount of damage you inflicted and the damage inflicted by the allies on vehicles stunned or immobilized by you must be at least 1000. (Destroy 1 enemy SPG and more.)

Mission 11: Your high-explosive shells are not only capable of inflicting tremendous damage to the enemy on a successful hit, but stun all vehicles caught in the splash radius. On many maps there are places where the enemy vehicles are close to each other. Don’t miss these moments — send groups of enemies your explosive greetings.
– Main – Stun at least 2 enemy vehicles with one shot. (Destroy an enemy vehicle with one shot. Only targets which have not received damage count.)

Mission 13: A platoon including an SPG is a serious problem for the enemy team. Coordinate, focus fire on one target. The task can also be run personally, but it is objectively more difficult.

Mission 15: Survival of the SPG secures the success of the team. Do not put yourself under enemy fire and send shells into the target one after the other. Do not rush to shoot, think twice before “pulling the trigger”, since your long reload dictates the rule of “1 shot 1 hit”.

  1. Seems like you changed the mobile version of TAP ; you should move back to the old one : now there is much less space dedicated to articles thus everything is clustered together and is harder to read.

  2. My question is this. (I don’t expect you to have an answer, but perhaps you’ll get a chance to ask someone.) If I have completed, say, 7 of the artillery missions for a certain campaign (let’s say T-55A), will I have to start over with SPG mission 1 after the new patch, or will I still get credit for having completed 7 of them, even though the missions I completed were different?
