Mission Marathon: T25 Pilot (EU)

Also available on ASIA.

We bring you great news! From 12 March at 06:00 CET (UTC+1) until 27 March at 07:00 CEST (UTC+2), we will be running a special mission marathon!

Grand Prize: brand new American Tier VIII medium tank, T25 Pilot Number 1 + garage slot!

In order to complete the marathon and win the prize, you will have to finish 13 missions. There will be one mission available per day, which means that you will have to complete them on 13 different days.

Don’t worry, though – the marathon will run for 15 days, and you need only 13 mission tokens, so you can miss 2 days and still win!

As usual, there will also be a fail-safe option available in the Premium Shop, in case you miss more than 2 missions or can’t participate at all.

The missions will be updated on a daily basis, and you will be able to view the currently active mission below – don’t forget to keep checking it out:

Mission Tokens – FAQ

Is there any difference between a player achieving the token in-game by playing or if they just buy the token from the Premium Shop?

Yes, there is: finishing the mission in-game will also get you extra rewards.

What happens if a player buys only one token but at the end of the event they do not have all the other tokens to finish the whole marathon?

All unused Tokens that have been purchased in the Premium Shop will be compensated with 600 each between 27 March and 27 May.

If I buy a Token, will I still be able to play the currently active Daily Mission?

Yes, you will be able to play the Mission.

If I buy all 13 tokens and receive the tank, will I still be able to play the Missions and get the rewards?

Yes, you can play all the missions and you will also get a reward for each that you finish, except the tokens.

What happens if a player buys let’s say 5 tokens in the Premium Shop but never finishes any daily missions?

Each of the 5 tokens will be compensated with 600 each, so the player will receive3,000 in total. The compensation will be distributed between 27 March and 27 May.

What battle modes count towards the mission goal (random battles, team battles, others)?

Only battles fought in the Random Battle game mode will count towards the mission’s completion.

Will there be any way to check the number of tokens you have gathered?

The tokens sold in the Premium Shop cannot be tracked in the user interface (UI). However, the free tokens (tokens earned by completing the missions) can be tracked in the Missions window, together with the completed missions.

Do Premium tanks count towards the mission progress (damage/tanks destroyed)?

Yes, you can use Premium tanks and they will contribute to the mission’s progress, provided that they are at least Tier IV.

What if I buy 3 packages with 5 tokens each and get 15 tokens in total? As I need only 13 to finish the marathon, what will happen to the extra 2?

All excess, leftover or unused tokens purchased in the Premium Shop will be compensated with 600 each between 27 March and 27 May.

T25 Pilot Number 1

T25 Pilot is a medium tank of average mobility. Characteristics-wise, it is very close to M26 Pershing, both in terms of strengths (good elevation angles, frontal turret armour, stabilization) and weaknesses (mediocre dynamics, weak hull armour, and armour penetration).

T25, despite its higher top speed, cedes to M26 Pershing in dynamics, manoeuvrability and view range. However, it has a more effective gun. In terms of gameplay, the vehicles are very similar.

  1. if i earn, lets say 10 tokens, and the mission ends, can i buy the last 3 tokens AFTER the mission ended?? or do i have to buy thos before the mission ends, because else they arent complete?

    1. If they follow previous practice, it starts off as 5 wins in order to get people interested, then the missions grow harder to things like kill 5 Maus in 5 consecutive battles. Once they have people invested in winning, they are more likely to buy some tokens to finish.

  2. Well, I suppose this is gonna go like this – easy mission for a couple of days, so people that play regularly get quite a lot of tokens. Mission getting harder towards the end, so people that have 10-11 tokens will feel like they should buy a tank for less than usually.
Not that there’s anything wrong with it, if anything I think it’ll be about as hard or maybe tiny bit easier than other marathons for T8 prems.

Tank itself looks decent and well balanced. It has better gun handling, DPM and top speed, but will accelerate similarly and turn slower, has worse armor, worse APCR shell, and pretty shit velocities on both AP and APCR.

    1. It’s definitely something different to weeks and weeks of grinding. I like it. Better get a hard mission for 24h hours than an easy one that eates your life away.

  3. just one note towards the tank description given here:
“T25 Pilot is a medium tank of average mobility. Characteristics-wise, it is very close to M26 Pershing, both in terms of strengths (good elevation angles, frontal turret armour, stabilization) and weaknesses (mediocre dynamics, weak hull armour, and armour penetration).”

as far as tanks.gg tells, the turret is just and utterly b*shit, as there is BIG hole just behind the mantlet.giving you stronk 90 mm of spaced armour for most of your turret front.

well, I will see how much tokens I can get and depnig on that I decide if it’s worth it. at least it would be US-MT-crew-trainer.
there you have JUST the mantlet, meaning you have stronk

    1. Well, it’s armour may not be very reliable, but it has very, very good gun soft stats. That, combined with a very good aim time means it’s going to be very comfortable to shoot with.
