Like all previews, information represented here is subject to change prior to the update’s release.

This update is still under development; the information in this preview is provided for reference, reflecting the current state of the prototype at the time of its publication. Screenshots, certain specification figures, and in-game mechanics will not necessarily be relevant after this version’s release.

Inventory

In Update 0.6.1, you will have a handy tool to view all the assets you have accumulated, acquired from Containers, and earned in battles.

You can also sell some of them. Inventory will be available from Service Record Level 12. It can be accessed from the account menu, in the same place where the clans are: the upper left corner, where your nickname is.

Inventory functionality and prices are not final and are set for testing purposes only.

New Upgrades

This is the first step in the development and introduction of special modernisations with varying degrees of uniqueness. They will be available for as rewards for various achievements and activities, and available from supercontainers. They will be installed either on the classes or specific ships of a particular nation, and some are available strictly for a particular ship.

First iteration introduces rare upgrades:

Sound

The soundtrack now not only pleasantly complements the gameplay, but also reacts to changes in the combat situation. The old music score for the timer has been cancelled; now, peaceful ambient music immediately begins playing instead. When there are enemies within a radius of 17 km, and when the player is detected by the enemy, the music switches to the new track for the “detection” state. As the distance to the enemy decreases, it grows more and more intense. When engaged, the music switches to the “battle” state, and when there are no enemies in sight, the music returns to the peaceful ambient music track.

Get your favourite 7’s all ready and kitted up, but don’t forget about new arrivals, too: since last season, even more have become available! 1. ” Inventory will be available from Service Record Level 12.”
shit like this is what makes WoWS unappealing to new players, there are HUGE swaths of the game locked behind Service Record (aka games played) requirements

    1. Shit like that makes getting to grips with the game easier for new players. Would you want T6 players who don’t understand what signals and consumables are?

    2. And what exactly is your problem? If you play the game your service record increases. If you too lazy or not interested enough to play, it doesn’t, and you don’t need to bother with any of this in the first place. So, your argument makes no sense.

    3. You know, reaching level 12 only takes a couple hours. And Before that new players get new stuff with all the other levels as well, so they won’t be frustrated with locked content at all.

  2. I think when they say:
“the champions will get another special prize.”
Are they referring to the USS Black?

Also the fact that it will be T7 and that the Belfast is being sold in the shop, this season of ranked is going to be nasty.
