„By special permission from the dev team in St. Petersburg, via Vadim (global integration manager) and Sergey (Dev lead) I have been granted permission to post a video of an Alabama battle.

P.S. This is not a general permit to post Alabama videos. It is still under testing and therefore under NDA. This video has been granted a special permission for publication.”

  1. really why they make Alabama citadel like Iowa to be to big…
all three: Iowa, Montana, Alabama should have citadel in similar construction to North Carolina (part above waterline is buoyancy reserve area while at waterline is 3 deck separating it from actual machinery and ammo magazines) only in different more sloped shape. (i mean that “split” on NC were Upper part of armor belt isn’t considered as citadel where part at/below waterline is considered citadel, similar should be on other ships)
other ships have citadel area primary were is machinery/ammo magazines, while that trio have also included Buoyancy reserve area with isn’t that vital especially when considering that NC have that separated.

while that trio have 3 deck bit thinner than NC, keep in mind that Leander have only 6mm…

of course not even talking about missing STS backup platting:
like missing 64mm on turret front
Iowa Face: 17.0 in (43.2 cm) Class B armor over 2.5 in (6.4 cm) STS
North Carolina Face: 16.0 in (40.6 cm) Class B armor over 2.5 in (6.4 cm) STS
Alabama Face: 18.0 in (45.7 cm) Class B armor over 2.5 in (6.4 cm) STS
and 114mm on Montana Face: 18.0 in (45.7 cm) Class B armor over 4.5 in (11.4 cm) STS

not similar on Belt, armored Deck and other areas…

      1. that’s another thing, NC/Montana should have better TDS than Alabama and Iowa.

other funny thing is that both Alabama and Missouri have 38mm torpedo bulges compared to Iowa 25mm, with means that they add additional chance to bounce high caliber guns…

really they should focus bit more on main tree.

  2. Two problems.
    1. It’s the U.S.S. Alabama, not the Alabama ST
    2. The hideous camo needs to go. Why put that kind of camo on an American ship?
