Console: Battle in Boilermaker from “Roll Out!”

The intense confrontation between Second Lieutenant Linnet’s “Snakebite” and Hauptmann Kraft’s Panther continues with Issue #2, which is available beginning November 2. The Panther tanks of Panzerabteilung 130 pause for rest and repairs when they suddenly spot a British advance led by their agile Cromwell units.

To the rear of the advance, and protected from German focus fire, is a group of Sherman Fireflies, including the “Boilermaker,” which’ll soon be coming to the game!

Feared for their powerful 17-pdr guns, the Sherman Fireflies are priority targets for the Germans, and the Boilermaker is no different. This unique Firefly variant comes in authentic WWII camouflage and unique decals (hull tracks), which act as spaced armor.

In the comic, “Boilermaker” is led by Commander James White, who comes with the in-game tank, and possesses the exclusive “Last Stand” Skill!

Boilermaker is offered in several bundles (including a standalone), but if you were late to the party, the Dark Horse Mega Bundle offers the most bang for the buck.

  1. as usual, console /blitz get all the cool skins and camos…

while WoT PC only gets stupid ‘murrican ugly camo.

  2. Nice to see another pay to win skill implemented in the console version.

I still can’t understand why would anyone in their right mind make a comic about World of Tanks which have absolutely no story.

    1. I can’t understand it either, just a terrible idea really (P2W and comic*)
You know the worst part is? On every loading screen into a match, over 50% of the screen is an ad for the comic. I can’t even stand playing the game anymore, WAY too much cash grabbing at this point, just sickens me.

        1. Indeed. The population is max 5k at peak hours, tier X TDs / M53 are still BS OP, ads (Only comic ads before games right now “luckily”), far more premiums released than anything else, P2W, accuracy nerfed compared to PC, etc…
The only good thing is server roaming, and HD models, but when you cant enjoy the game, why bother?

  3. It looked rather interesting, a Sherman Firefly that is historically accurate, both in the model, camo, and even other details. But then, they make it P2W.
    Welp.

Maybe having nothing on the PC version isn’t half that bad….

  4. I think having a skill limited to a crew that you have to pay for is pretty lame…but I’d buy that tank if it was on PC, even without the skill.

  5. Am I the only one that had hard time understanding what this post is about? If so ok I’ll shut up but…

the title doesn’t say much, the post itself isn’t very clear early on if it’s console or pc, no summary.

I know it has links that would tell me but what is the point of copy paste?
