Tank Development in World War 1 I THE GREAT WAR Special

A very basic video about tanks during WW1. For the ones that know most of basic WW1 tank history (like me), it won’t be that interesting. A nice watch for the ones that don’t know the subject, though.

  1. Not sure about everyone else, but whenever I see footage of WWI, I get chills down my spine.

Not sure if it’s because of the jumpy, grainy film, or if it’s just because of the absolute dreadfullness of WWI compared to the following ones, but seeing those two tanks advancing under fire and seeing a shell fall right in front of them and exploding made me think : “welp, if I were in the camera’s point of view, I’d soil myself and hide in a corner”

    1. Yeah, war is brutal. Anyways, war could have been less brutal for us Romanians if we had proper command for the other 2 or our armies (we had 3 in total). First defeats were dissapointing, we gave up Turtucaia without a fight.
