WoT Optimization – Granite SDK Info

Wargaming and the Belgian middleware developer Graphine announced that Wargaming purchased a license for Granite SDK. This software willl allow to load textures faster and more efficiently, thus allowing for better graphics and better loading times. This is accomplished by optimizing textures for streaming from the hard drive. The SDK can be integrated into any game engine.

    Wonder if it will improve my 1-2 second loading time from SSD.

    1. Knowing how fast WG works, by the time this makes it into the game you would’ve bought a new PC anyway…

      It just only took them about 2 years to implement the lincensed WWISE sound engine.

  2. Looks like it could be for both loading a battle (meh) and actual rendering in game.
