Description:
The project of mounting of a 75 mm howitzer on a M3 Light Tank chassis was made in the fall of the year 1941. After the project recieved approval, the first 2 prototypes were ordered. The first prototype was built in May 1942, and in June, it was tested on the Aberdeen proving grounds. The T18 program was closed because there were more promising projects.
