Panzermadels: Tank Dating Simulator

Ok, so this is insane. Since a long time ago, in 2012, when a nice anime called Upotte!! was ongoing (it was pretty cool, but the OVA was shitty) and it had anthropomorphized weapons (read as assault rifles personified into girls) training and fighting with each other (armed with the weapons they actually were, epic right?), and since Girls und Panzer (nice tank battles and parades but lacked in the character department), I did not see any millitary-themed anime (if wrong, add some examples in the comments please, I will check them out).

Nice clouds out there. And the font, too. Hitler would be proud.

But this time, it is entirely different. Anthropomorphized TANKS. You can date them. In a dating simulator. Check out this story:

„Erwin Lemmor just got transferred to a prestigious military academy to study Armored Warfare. But when he arrives, Erwin realizes it’s not Tank School, but “Tank School” for World War II Main Battle Tanks. Who happen to look just like Japanese School Girls…! (Seb: I wonder why they always look like Japanese schoolgirls… and not North Korean ones?)

Instead of studying military history and doctrine, he’s in “Basic Artillery Computations for Fire Support 101”, and “Radio Operations 214”. Will he win the heart of the tank-girls, or end up as cannon fodder? Only you can decide in, “Panzermadels: Tank Dating Simulator”.”

It even has a Kickstarter page!  Some guys already funded that :/

Some screenshots for lulz:

Historically accurate. But they misspelled Panzerkampfwagen in the back.
Kudos for that pink-haired T-34. Why is she so unhappy?

And there is a trailer, too:

Ummm… yeah. That song fits the tanks indeed. Reminds me of that Hitler K-ON remix. (click). But that was actually good and well-made, unlike this one…

And now, a group pic:

Steam Greenlight page:

And now, I will tell you my honest opinion: I never liked dating sims. I am a Touhou fan, I read mangas from time to time, I watch Naruto, but this… is too much. Too weird for me, sorry. But I laughed at this one.

How was that old saying?

See you later.
