The iconic VIM4A3E8 Fury returns to the Premium Shop. This tank gained modern fame through Hollywood, but first proved itself in World War II. While the British developed their Firefly version of the Sherman, the Americans created the E8 variant—nicknamed “Easy Eight”—to counter German Tiger I and Panther tanks. This upgraded model featured a stronger turret and enhanced firepower, earning a starring role in the award-winning 2014 movie Fury. In World of Tanks, the Fury boasts excellent DPM, precise gun handling, and a durable mantlet.

WOT Express: Chieftain Mk. 6 Release in May 2025

The cat reports that the final designation of the Chieftain Mk. 6 (🇬🇧 UK, Tier 10, promotional) has been confirmed.

The Royal Chieftain will see its global release in May 2025. This is an old tank that the English-speaking community has been eagerly awaiting.

As a reminder, back in autumn 2024, there were assumptions that this tank would finally be released in 2025.
Its original fate is now hard to recall. The Chieftain Mk. 6 first appeared way back in September 2015.

The layout of this experimental light tank was far from traditional: it featured a chassis with a front-mounted engine and main transmission, a rear-mounted cooling system, and a dual-track drive system with two drive wheels per side. This last feature offered a major advantage — the vehicle could only be immobilized in battle if both tracks on one side were disabled.
