Steven Seagal Available as Commader for WoWS (NA, EU, ASIA)

This time he’s not simply a cook: he’s a Commander. Let the Seas run Red, White and Blue.

Steven Seagal has gone from being a cook to an American Commander, and he’s available to be yours in-game if you complete a very special marathon event and it’s open for both new and existing players (albeit in a different format for each).

For existing players:

For those of you who have spent numerous hours sailing and destroying, the task is simple: earn 70,000 base XP between 1 November and 14 December (giving you over six weeks to reach this total), and as soon as you accomplish this feat you will receive Steven as a Commander with 6 Skill Points and 100 Zulu Hotel flags (+50% XP for your Commander).
The only stipulation is you must earn the XP within Random, Ranked, Team, or Co-op battles!
Unlike new players, as soon as you finish the mission, you will get Steven and can sail the Open Seas with him until your heart’s content.
Steven’s been busy getting into character, but have no fear – he will be available to commandeer your American vessels from 1 November onwards!

WoWS: Arpeggio November (NA)

This month’s “Arpeggio” missions offer you the chance to stock up on Credits and gear while working your way toward unlocking the tier VIII ARP Takao, a heavy cruiser with fire power to spare.
All “Arpeggio” ships come with commanders from the series and include their authentic voices!
Also, did we mention that color? So sleek!

Viewing all “Arpeggio” content is entirely optional. Toggle the presence of these ships by clicking the anchor icon in the top left corner of your Port screen and selecting the special “Yokosuka” Port.
Arpeggio Commanders can be transferred only between other Arpeggio ships.

WoWS: 0.5.14 Public Test: Preliminary Patch Notes

Patch Notes

Economics

Increased the amount of credits and experience earned for damage dealt by other players to targets sighted by the player. Due to this change, average earnings per battle have been increased by 1,5%-3% for aircraft carriers, battleships and cruisers, and by 2%-4% for destroyers.

Interface

  • In the battle HUD, aircraft names will now be replaced with aircraft Tiers when the alternative battle interface mode is enabled. Full aircraft names that were previously used had poor legibility and did not contain any significantly useful information.
  • Icons of destroyed ships displayed on the Minimap will now be noticeably different to icons of spotted ships (icons of destroyed ships became darker).
  • On the Minimap, ship names will now be displayed when the alternative battle interface mode is enabled.
  • Added a timer to the base/key area capture progress indicator upon capturing. This timer shows the time remaining until the base/key area is captured and will only be shown for those who are within the capture circle.
  • Added an icon next to the ship’s HP bar in the dynamic ship icon. This icon shows the currently bound key for the “Show Ship Status” control. By default, the [H] key is bound to this control.

Audio

  • Ambient sounds will now be played according to the current map.
  • Improved sounds of main gun shots for some ships.
  • Improved sounds for AA armament.
  • Improved sounds for shells hitting the water.
