For honour and sportsmanship, but for your entertainment before anything else, this week, four teams will fight on the battlefields of World of Tanks! As mentioned in our dedicated Team Clash article, you can follow them in this glorious adventure with a new mode, and show off with exclusive items and rewards inspired by these talented commanders. World of Warships Common Test – Balance Changes

We continue to work on improving the balance in our game. The following balance changes will be made in Update 0.9.1:

Japanese aircraft carrier Hakuryu. Tier X:

  • Fixed an error with the accuracy of the stock Attack Aircraft, which did not match the accuracy of the researchable Attack Aircraft. The accuracy of the stock fighters was lowered to the levels of the researchable ones;

  • Attack aircraft damage reduced from 3,450 to 3,350.

British cruiser Neptune, Tier IX:

  • Main battery reload time reduced from 5 to 4.8 s.

American destroyer Gearing, Tier X:

  • Stock torpedo tube reload time reduced from 106 to 103 s;

  • Researchable torpedo tube reload time reduced from 122 to 118 s.

Wargaming Donates 10 Million $ to Fight Corona Virus

Wargaming donates $ 10 million to fight coronavirus in China. Earlier, Bill Gates allocated a similar amount.

This morning Zhou Hongyi  a Chinese entrepreneur and billionaire posted a message on his Weibo blog that CEO Wargaming today donated 10 million US dollars to fight the epidemic in the country.

Zhou said the Wargaming CEO contacted him on the second night of the new year and expressed his deep concern about the epidemic in China.

World of Tanks 1.7.1 – List of Changes

Main Changes

Demounting Kit

A new type of consumables (Demounting Kit) has been added to the game: it allows demounting one item of complex equipment without using gold.

This consumable can be received from each fifth (large) Reward for Merit. Improved Equipment still can be demounted only for bonds.

Maps

  • Changed the base locations for Encounter Battles on the Ruinberg and Siegfried Line maps.
  • Made balance changes that affect the locations of spawn points for Encounter Battles on the Himmelsdorf, Ensk, Cliff, Ruinberg, Siegfried Line, Murovanka, Steppes, Lakeville, Prokhorovka, and Mines maps. The number of possible spawn points has been reduced from 30 to 15 per team.

World of Tanks – Limited Time 3D Styles for Progetto 35 and AMX 50B

With the release of update 1.7.1, two new, in their own way, unique 3D styles appeared in the game:

  • Safari Corazzato, priced at 2,500 Gold for the Progetto M35 mod. 46;
  • Javan Rhino worth 5,000 gold for the AMX 50 B.

They are available throughout the update and are located in the “Appearance / Ready Styles” tab.


     3D styles will be removed from the Appearance tab in patch 1.8.
