Here are some changes we’re planning based on your feedback about submarines.

We received a lot of feedback about our testing of submarines, so we’re here to address the following commonly-raised points:

  • The matchmaker
  • Anti-submarine gameplay and submarine survivability
  • New mechanics for displaying the source of enemy sonar pings
  • Removal of the ability to remain constantly between two depth states by quickly tapping the dive and surface buttons

WoWS: Changes to Test Ships — Closed Testing 0.11.3

Based on testing results, we’re applying changes to French cruisers, as well as American cruiser San Diego, Italian carrier Aquila and German Supercruiser Clausewitz.

The following changes will be applied to the live server before the end of this week:

VII Toulon

  • Deck armor increased: 25 to 30 mm
  • Citadel deck armor increased: 20 to 30 mm

VIII Cherbourg

  • Deck armor increased: 27 to 30 mm
  • Citadel deck armor increased: 20 to 30 mm

WoT: Fair Play Update (April)

World of Tanks has always been open to modifications and customizations, as long as they are in line with our Fair Play Policy. But we keep out unwanted, cheating, and harmful software that manipulates gameplay and provides unfair advantages. We want to make it clear once again that we have zero tolerance for cheating! Ensuring Fair Play will always be among our top priorities, and we will do our best to keep the gaming environment as fair as possible.

Today, we have taken another step in this direction and placed a massive ban wave across all servers. In this wave, we’ve penalized 1893 accounts in the EU region. 1437 of these accounts have received their first warning, and 456 have been banned permanently.

This ban wave will be followed by others in the future, so be sure to visit the Mod Hub to find all the verified and newest mods for World of Tanks. The Mod Hub is the safest place to download various mods for World of Tanks, without worrying about policy violations.

NA: In this wave for the Americas from March 21 to April 25, we penalized 312 accounts: 242 of these received their first warning, and 70 were banned permanently.

ASIA:

  • 128 accounts permanently banned for botting (view the full list of accounts banned for botting here)
  • 227 accounts penalized for using illegal mods or engaging in misconduct; of these, 44 accounts will be permanently banned

RU: As part of this campaign, 21,847 accounts were blocked in the RU region. 18,630 of them received the first warning, 3217 are permanently blocked.
