TL;DR:
• Massive ban wave across all regions targeting cheaters and riggers
• EU: 4,815 penalized, 1,568 banned, 576 riggers banned
• ASIA1: 281 penalized, 62 banned, 15 riggers banned
• NA: 143 penalized, 34 banned, 41 riggers banned
It’s of the utmost importance to us to maintain a fair playing field to keep the competitive spirit of World of Tanks healthy and vital. We do not tolerate cheaters or riggers, and their removal from the game can only improve things for everyone else.
Today, we’d like to give an update on the actions we’re taking to protect fair play by keeping players who break the rules out.
Immediate Action on Cheaters and Riggers
Our work against cheaters and rigged battles has never stopped. In our most recent ban wave, we have enacted the following:
- 4,815 cheaters penalized across EU servers
- 1,568 cheaters banned across EU servers
- 576 riggers banned across the EU servers
- 281 cheaters penalized across ASIA1
- 62 cheaters banned across ASIA1
- 15 riggers banned across the ASIA1
- 143 cheaters penalized across NA servers
- 34 cheaters banned across NA servers
- 41 riggers banned across the NA servers
Penalization means a first-time warning and a seven-day temporary ban. All other bans are permanent. We leave no room for error—our team carefully checks every suspicious situation. If a player is penalized/banned, it is because we have 100% verified proof.
What Are Rigged Battles?
Rigged battles are matches where players break the rules by creating unfair conditions to gain in-game advantages—such as farming easy damage, boosting stats, or earning rare awards.
This kind of behavior breaks the rules and ruins the experience for players who want to play fair and follow the rules. That’s why rigging leads to permanent bans with no prior warning from our side.
Fair Play Is Key
We encourage everyone to stay informed by reviewing our Fair Play Policy and understanding the consequences of violating it.
If you use mods, it’s important to ensure that you’re only using safe and approved ones. World of Tanks is open to modifications and customizations; however, we do not approve of unwelcome cheat-facilitating software that is used to manipulate gameplay and give unfair advantages. The best way to avoid unnecessary action against your account is by using mods from the official World of Tanks Mod Hub, where all mods are verified and safe to use.
Let’s continue to maintain a fair environment and enjoy the game responsibly.

Damn, they just banned 1/4 of the Asia server 🤣
Bigg pile of shit…
80% of UA players are cheeters and it is known who is protecring cheeters, WG for monthly payment!
This game is scam!
you might be russian because you hate ukrainian ppl?
go home to your dictator Putin!
Ucraine players devastated world of tanks gameplay and everybody knows this
Not his fault every guy who has ua in nick playes like bot or sth
What dictator you’re talking about, bot?!
Then… I met a complete orcainian moron a few nights ago; he was on a press account. Not only was he completely useless during the battle, but he also typed extremely rude BS in private chat after! I reported the banderaphile low IQ ua to WG!
Ukrainian players replaced the polish and Czech trash white paki of Europe
Considering that at least 25-30% of the player (at any given time) have an amazing aim and ability to pen every f*cking shot – I’d say that it’s still a lot of players left to ban on the EU server.
Seriously, how small d*ck and soft spine do you have if you feel the need to cheat in a videogame?
Behind a keyboard we all feel like lions……….
Soooo, you “think” that a mod installed locally can make you hit and pen EVERY shot ?
Next mods expert with 45wr….
You’re giving those people to much credit. They barely reach 35wr
But the bad-mouting apart, cheating is possible – yes – but it is such a small percentage of the vast playerbase. in my 15 years of wot I only noticed 2 times a really shady aiming behaviour, and I would assume I’m a good player myself, aware of mechanics and playstiles altogether…
Those who complain about cheating this and cheating that are just overwhelmed retires (boomers) who can’t get to grips with the fundamentals of this game and get outplayed like noobs.
THIS!!!!
I’m so tired to argue with people about cheating. Like, cheating in an game, where RNG is literally 25% of the game, is pure BS in the sense that cheat mods can’t make you the best player. Sure, they “help” with some stuff (removing vegetation to see easier, helping you in aiming, showing what enemies are aiming at, etc.) The arty cheat, where you see enemy team in the same time is rigging, not cheating imo.
Sounds like a cheater here…
long gone are the days when wr meant something! if you followed some cc’s you would see that they also have big problems with mm and it’s all because of the rush of cheaters! after all, even the birds know that wg lets players play with cheats for a monthly fee…
Maybe they just arent braindead?
TAP comment section keep on giving as always. Step one: learn to aim. Step two: put anectodal experience up your ass. Step three: …whatever…at this point you should ve known better.
Here at TAP, there are 20 ppl commenting more than once a month, max 30. The worst part is that on Discord people think the same, players think the same when they go to their favourite CC to cry about “everyone is hacking”. People just either don’t understand the game mechanics well enough, or they can’t cope with the fact that there are players, far better than themselves.
Considering the ever shrinking EU population that is a big percentage of cheaters. 6k of the fuckers.
I wonder what cheat mods they using? I have noticed I’m getting insta penned a lot, often from tanks that should’nt be able to do that reliably.
They use PKmods for cheating. WG need to ban all mods
With this I can agree. Mods should work similarly to how they are on Lesta’s Mir Tankov – there is a Lesta approved list of mods that you don’t need to go to an external source, they are available right in the garage (somewhat). This, or mods should be server-side (but then there will be a bit of delay). Or both server and client side. In this way, whatever you need instantly will be client side. But some data will need to be server side. For example, the server needs to communicate with all your mods individually and give them specific requests. Cheat mods are developed only client-side. And when the server reads hacks.wotmod in your mods folder, it won’t be in the database, therefore it’s un illegitimate mod and needs to be removed.
Wargaming would lose too much money if they dealt with the cheaters.
They could sort it in 24 hours if they wanted to, banning nobody.
But these people would leave the game, taking their money with them.
Yep.
If they just hit free forbidden mods users, EU would loose +100k players.
Easy…
Not to mention payed mods.
anyone played ASIA server know,
you can fake-report any enemy user,
then let their ping go very high, and impossible to play.
thus control the winrate of random battle.
oh wow this game really going to die isnt it.
Everyone knows that it would be enough to disable the ability to install mods.
Where is the list of names?
It’s undisclosed and it will never be disclosed. WG have a very strict policy against naming and shaming (I guess privacy policies in EU, not sure though).
Not that long ago, two or three years ago, here in The USA we knew there were people cheating, and cheating in any game to sport does happen at little league to professional. I wish it were different but it is not. What was funny to us Americans is we knew there bots in WoT on computer FROM Wargaming at all tiers because here in The USA bot technology does need to be used for us to have a game late night, early AM, and afternoon at times. Here is where EU players were a few years ago:
USA players: There are bots everywhere and cheats in WoT on computer.
EU players: There are only bots in game when you return from a long time.
Wargaming Press Release: There are bots in game.
EU players: You cannot cheat in World of Tanks on computer. “Server side”.
Wargaming Press Release: There are cheaters in WoT and these clans to names were caught cheating in Clan Wars. These people are permanently banned.
EU players: There are no cheats in WoT.
Those days are gone and EU players have realized that oh wow people cheat in a game. Yes, it is pathetic, and if you are installing modifications even on Mod Hub from World of Tanks.com you should not install mods. Wargaming truly gives us everything we need with WoT Client on Wargaming Game Center. There are guys here in The USA who do make mods for WoT on computer in their spare time and I have talked with these guys telling them they should not because even though they are doing mods that are strictly aesthetic to sounds it still could cause these guys to be seen as cheaters. You would not believe the cheats that you can find in The USA made by Americans and if you get American cheats you are more vile than a literal serial killer.
That’s fair. Although I disagree that the game has everything you need. Most mods are customizations – custom reticles, custom sounds, custom pictures, etc, etc. This is not in the game – just make it available in the settings to upload a picture, reticle, sound, etc to your preference. Vanilla WoT doesn’t have MoE trackers – they should 100% be a thing in the vanilla, which would be togglebble off, if you dont care about marking. Vanilla WoT lacks a bunch of utility mods, such as Battle Hits, Garage Clock, Battle Equipment, Distance Marker, Replay Manager, Freecam (in replays and garage), etc, etc. These are all small utilities that can (and imo need) to be in the vanilla game.
Just goes to show how dead the NA server is when it’s only 34 cheaters getting banned
What Are Rigged Battles?
Rigged battles are matches where WARGAMING IS creating unfair conditions FOR real players in ORDER TO MANIPULATE WITH GAME RESULTS by planting their own bots created for that purpose.
that is whay we have several battles in a row lost by 3:15, 1:15….., and win rate 20 %
No, rigged battles are battles in which 2 or more players intentonally try to click “Battle” together so they can end up in the same match. Usually the purpose is for one player to get with ease aces, marks, missions, etc. What you are referring to are predetermined battles. This has neither been confirmed, nor denied. And the “5:15 simulator” is a result of the snowball battles – i.e. one team dominates on one flank, therefore they get inertia and can wreck the rest of the game.
woho , greetings to wargaming staff- UDES 14 5 enjoyer
maybe you can also tell something about storage items.
if everything has buying price in this game, whay doesnt it have selling price?
whay cant we sell hundrets and hundrets of unused storage items?
and whay is wargaming obssesed with tottlay irelevant things…badges, descals, stickers. crew skins, 3d flower attachemts come on really
They only go after cheaters who use free traps; those who pay for them are protected. A bit strange, isn’t it?
