The changes introduced during the anniversary event caused such a stir that we could not resist sharing our plans for what is coming next.
Some features will arrive in the game very soon, while others will come later. Let us break it all down point by point, and most importantly explain when to expect the changes.
Penetration and Damage: Less RNG
The values of damage and penetration will be updated very soon. Both stats will be fixed at ±15%.
When to expect: Update 1.37
Matchmaker: ±1 Tier
The new matchmaking rules were warmly received, so we decided to further refine the system. From now on, battles will be formed under the ±1 tier rule.
However, we all know the excitement and challenge of facing enemy tanks two tiers higher, as well as the sweet sense of superiority when your team has tanks two tiers lower. These unique emotions are worth keeping. About 5% of battles will still be formed with the ±2 tier rule.
Preferential vehicles will not be overlooked either. A number of tanks have special matchmaking settings, and we are currently reviewing this aspect. We will share details about these adjustments soon.
When to expect: Update 1.38, The ±1 tier rule will be officially added to the game in mid-October with the release of update 1.38.
At the same time, we sincerely believe that ±2 tier battles can also provide exciting experiences. This can include the thrill and challenge of facing enemy tanks a couple of tiers higher, or the sweet feeling of superiority when the “red” team has vehicles two tiers lower. Therefore, occasionally, in less than 5% of cases, you will still encounter such battles.
A simple example: out of 100 battles played, only about 5 or possibly fewer will follow the ±2 tier rule. In some of these battles, you may even be at the top. We consider this the optimal approach. It allows teams to be evenly matched in most cases while occasionally creating more emotionally intense battles.
Of course, we have not forgotten about preferential vehicles and personal missions. We are actively studying these issues and will share information about future adjustments. As soon as decisions are finalized and approved for implementation, we will immediately share the details.
Matchmaker: Vehicle Type Restrictions
This will be introduced as a separate improvement to matchmaking. Soon, teams will be formed under the following restrictions:
-
No more than 2 SPGs
-
No more than 5 TDs
-
No more than 2 light tanks
When to expect: Update 1.38
Artillery: Stun Removed
As previously outlined in the roadmap, this will not be limited to a full class rebalance. We will also revise the conditions of personal missions and achievements, refine Field Modification, and adjust artillery economy.
When to expect: Update 1.38
Dispersion: Fewer Misses
This innovation has truly divided World of Tanks into a “before” and “after”. It will definitely appear in the game. Tank guns will become more accurate than they were before version 1.36.1.
We also plan to rework the accuracy formula itself with a long-term perspective in mind. Analyzing all the gathered data will take time, but preparations to calibrate all vehicles under the new accuracy system have already begun.
We will be back with details as soon as possible. Stay tuned to the game’s portal for updates.

Another finger on the monkey’s paw curls.
who cares about what lesta does? it doesnt affect nor concern us
Yea there bunch users like mezfi, and udes enjoyers always panders to Government Controlled Lesta WOT on Armor Patrol Comment Section
bro is learning, words are okay now.
maybe make the sentences more coherent, implant a brain, and someday someone will take you seriously.
Here? No one will take you or anybody else seriously. :Đ
Nothing matters here.
Lesta? You mean the rashan government.
Also, it strikes me more as them getting desperate to retain players.
Maybe RU players also visit this site?
Would be nice if WG made similar changes.
Ah RU needs this as they have no players and sell their servers to Iran
That’s what I actually expected from Update 2.0 in WoT.
I was a closed tester and was so tempted to tell everyone what a huge disappointment it was going to be.
So much hype for so little change.
+-1 MM is a fail, still get a lot of +2 battles.
Buffs? Yeah, they could have been done gradually over the last 2 years.
Tier 11’s? OK I suppose, could have been done at any time like the buffs.
The new UI is a steaming pile of shit (some additions were nice, like tank grouping).
Then, they give every monkey and his brother tier 10 tanks, making high tier battles complete dog shit.
Great move there…
99.9% true my friend!
Update 2.0 was a non-event
More a tax-dodging legal somersault name change than anything to do with the game itself
What Lesta does doesn’t have an instant effect on our version of WoT, but it brings comparisons, and in comparisons, if one side is much worse than the other, there will be complains.
Enough complains might have an effect on WG’s decision whether to improve WoT or not.
Lesta has done so many QoL improvements. That’s a fact, and it showed us how WoT can be improved even with some minor adjustments.
Here we’re talking about a video game, and some people had to drag their political view in like it can deny the truth.
They’re beyond saving.
