In Update 2.0, a new feature called “Armor Highlighting” will be introduced. It works with a slight delay after your tank stops, only in Sniper Mode, only at distances up to 300 m, and is disabled by default. Within a small radius of your aiming circle, the system will show the armor relative to your projectiles. As usual:
• Green — high chance of penetration
• Yellow — medium chance of penetration
• Red — no penetration possible
The highlight can be configured in the game settings (section: Reticle → Armor Highlighting). If the feature is initially enabled, you will also be able to toggle it directly in battle by pressing the “Y” key.
Currently, Armor Highlighting is in BETA testing and may be subject to change.
Enabling armor highlighting may reduce game performance.

wg changed the ui but the settings ui remains exactly the same, ha
Quickybaby crying about this to.
That players won’t have learn 900 weak points anymore and less skilled players will have this aimbot.
I’m worried that they are shaving off impotent steps in the learning curve for WoT. If it becomes to easy to play, this game will surely die a quick death.
Learning weakspots have been essential to become a good player in WoT. Take away that and you take away the motivation for the good players to continue to play. Then what will happen to WoT…?
Yes. But this (learning weak spots) was before WG was throwing every week 3 new tanks into the game. Nowadays learning ALL weak spots and specs of all the shit that WG brings into the game is almost impossible.
