Find Your Way at the Start of Battle
Battle Route Tips highlight popular early-battle routes on the minimap, helping you understand how battles usually unfold at the start. The zones appear during the countdown and the first minutes of the battle, showing the directions players most commonly take in your chosen vehicle.
This is the first iteration of the feature. It will be improved based on your feedback. Currently, zones are calculated separately for the following vehicle role, tier, and map:
- Vehicles: Tier VI and higher
- Classes: All classes except light tanks
- Maps: All maps available for Tier VIII+ vehicles
Combat Zones
You may see four types of popular zones on the minimap—check them out below.
Remember that these zones reflect global player data across all regions. For new or reworked maps, there may not be enough data yet. In these cases, zones are temporarily created by level designers based on the intended map flow. As more data is collected, they will be replaced with zones generated from actual player behavior.
How to Enable or Disable Battle Route Tips
Battle Route Tips are automatically enabled for commanders who haven’t played for a while starting with Update 2.2.1. You can also turn the feature on or off at any time in Settings:
Settings → Tips → Enable combat zones on minimap

An experimental new feature is coming with Update 2.2.1 in late April! See where idiots who follow internet beggars (streamers) go every game for your minimap.
Follow Internet Beggars every Battle
Blind Follower Tips highlight zombie and zealot early-battle routes on the minimap, helping you be a cult follower, and understand how battles work when you drink The Kool Aid every day. The zones appear during the countdown and the first minutes of the battle, showing the directions cult followers take when an Internet Beggar tells blind followers where to go.
This is the first iteration of the feature. It will be improved based on Internet Beggar feedback such as QuickyBaby, skill4ltu, Dakillzorz, but not limited to these Internet Beggars. Currently, zones are not calculated only made out of thin air at the whim of an Internet Beggar for the following vehicle role, tier, and map:
Vehicles: Tier VI and HELP Tier and HELP Tier is Tier XI.
Classes: No classes because cult followers need to be told what to play.
Maps: All maps available for Shekel Making Tier (VIII) to HELP Tier.
Combat Zones
You may see four types of popular zones on the minimap— read The Minimap if you can. Illiterate Cult Followers need not apply.
Remember that these zones tell you where zombies and zealots go based on what an Internet Beggar tells them across all regions. For new or reworked maps, there may not be enough cultists indoctrinated by blood pacts yet. In these cases, Altars of Allegiance are temporarily created by Wargaming Janitors based on the most recent board meeting conclusion made while drunk. As more cultists pledge allegiance to Internet Beggars, there will be zones generated from actual cultists doing every action a guy on The Internet tells them to do.
How to Enable or Disable Cultist Tips
Cultist Tips are automatically enabled for zombies and zealots who watch an Internet Beggar (streamer) starting with Update 2.2.1. You can also turn the feature on or off at any time by doing whatever an Internet Beggars tells you to do or stop watching YouTube and make your own decisions.
Are you currently on one or more prescription medications? No? You may want to consider it. Yes? You may want to up the dosages.
Of ALL the things to complain about, giving noobs some guidance is very low on the totem pole, and you have spent far too much time and energy on it.
Seek professional help ASAP.
A Rubik’s Cube is more effective at insulting than you.
Nothing I can say would be more insulting that what nature has done to you already.
Though it’s not all bad: You may serve as the cautionary tale of why brothers shouldn’t marry their sisters.
You are confusing my sister with my cousin third removed. My wife is rich and there is no relation to me by blood. You serve as your lineage’s template for a new trapezoid as your entire blood line is shaped as one. Too bad the local animal shelter caught you having coitus with a literal cat and barred you from entry. You can find a feral cat somewhere.
You’re sick. In more ways than I’m willing to count.
It is understandable because you swing on QuickyBaby’s nuts and you know you do. You need better heroes than a fraud.
Go back to your Ukrainian mud hut and wank into a sock over drone murder footage
No thank you because I am a Czar in your mom’s house while I live thousands of miles away in rich people land on American billionaire and millionaire money as people want me where as people need to defecate on serfs such as yourself to force you to exile yourself from anyone’s wash closet tosser. Ooo try to tax me because in the end I will tax your homeless begging ass.
what is the point of this,
overpowered medium tanks will as always occupy arty spots as always , and wont use more then 5% of their speed.
but noone from wargaming even play this game anymore so how could they see it in battles, in thierdelousional reality mediums are flaying across maps and making this game game fast, modern and exciting. what a joke
It’s the same tiny maps for years I honestly don’t see why this is needed.
Map design was what was WoT’s most glaring problem was in this game’s infancy to me. If you are new or are returning these maps are not that bad during 2026 in terms of size. Small maps can be acceptable such as original Ensk and Stalingrad. Both maps have great cover while being small. Ensk is still in The Random Queue rotation. Ensk Region is one that people do not understand even when it is large. Many people go to The East and separate themselves from the entire game for the entire length of a game by going to forest on Ensk Region that gets even worse when they go to that island on The East Redline.
Wargaming’s perspective on map design is not the greatest but it is not terrible during 2026. There was a Wargaming press release around 2019/2020 and a map developer went on at length summarizing his point that maps are designed to be roughly 50%/50% Win Ratio for either spawn. That was Wargaming’s official statement on what is fair map design specifically. Of course I do not agree with Wargaming’s perspective on what fair is but Wargaming is forced at times. Players will always take the easiest way out to answer any problem the opposing team puts their way. Maps are one aspect that Wargaming does have control over so while I do not agree with Wargaming on map design I do see where Wargaming is coming from.
If you want a small map Mittengard is a literal shoe box. Tier One map only though. You could also have a strong point calling for more NEW maps introduced through expedited processes because when that war in Ukraine started Wargaming pulled out many maps such as Kharkov to Minsk. Both are great maps.
All cry a river – imagine as good Player you can farm those Player because you know the exact location where they going
Meanwhile stage 2 or a hvy/dpm beast tank but for this you need at least a working brain 😂
