WoT: Tier 11 🇺🇸”Gorilla” in Update 2.2.1

With the release of update 2.2.1, the 🇺🇸 Gorilla (TD-11, techtree, mechanic: Multi-Charge Loading System) will be officially added to the game
It will become available for research in the tech tree after the 🇺🇸 T110E4

Multi-Charge Loading System (Tier XI Mechanic):
• This vehicle can fire prematurely during reload
• Single-charge shots fired while reloading are less effective
• Fully charged shots (after complete reload) have optimal ballistic characteristics

Historical Reference:
In the late 1960s, the United States worked on developing a protected tank destroyer SPG equipped with high-energy guns to counter next-generation enemy tanks. The main armament under consideration included high-energy 155 mm and 165 mm guns, while improved accuracy was to be achieved through the use of a radar rangefinder with a backup optical system. To enhance protection against HEAT ammunition, welded cage armor was planned for both the hull and turret. Ultimately, the project proved too complex and expensive, leading to its cancellation.
