  1. True, Onslaught is an improvement from that horrendous Ranked Battles garbage that would punish you for winning if you did not score high enough per the scoring metrics, that you could game, and while Onslaught is fun too, it is blatantly obvious Onslaught is marginally improved from literal excrement, and when your team does have a RENTAL tank against a silver or gold ranked player you know Onslaught is particularly wasteful of your time because it is easy to tell what team is at an advantage before the game even starts as The Clock begins its countdown. Onslaught is a game mode that needs to be reworked or removed.

    1. Tru, (un)rankeds was total bs mode that had nothing to do with competitive play. Wait in bush simulator if anything…

But…In onslaught lot of times really good players use 7×7 machines, you cant really be sure everytime. Have seen quite a few absolutely obliterate flanks (easily 3k+ wn8ers). If you are in gold and above ppl generally have an idea how the gamemmode works regardless of a tank they play, be it even 7×7 ones. Rest is on ones quick decisionmaking and comm whether push or not.

if you have obvious retard in a team just play more positionally and you will fall through ranks in affordable manner, from which one can bounce up with stable performance. Onslaught has well implemented merits (wr, battle activity and efficiency), its not 7x7s or other retarded players fault one cant go up, its ones performance issue over large sum of battle.

Bronze = automatic clown title, rather play random
Silver = majority is 50+ yr old dads that are mostly muppets but can occasionally do good decisions
Gold = mix of decent and really good players with few muppets here and there that will fall back to silver anyway
      champ+= self explanatory

With onslaught wg cooked well. Its fun and challenging. But the clownskin tanks as a price…

      1. I will only reach silver on purpose due to time constraints even though gold is achievable

      2. As I stated Onslaught is fun and it is an improvement from that thing titled “Ranked Degenerate Battles”. It can be improved and if Wargaming would improve Onslaught rather than accept below average as acceptable then we all might have a great game mode.

      3. one interesting thing about ons is that you sometimes find really good random battle players hardstuck in silver because the some habits that are beneficial for stat farming – ie selling out their teammates whenever they can – are a complete disaster in 7v7

      4. “majority is 50+ yr old dads that are mostly muppets”…omg what kind of moron are you??m

    2. Remove the whole, Losing point system.. Instead just make it so if you rank in the top 4 players you gain points while if you rank the bottom 3 you don’t lose points.. but if you get caught team killing you lose points instead.. (pushing team mates to death)

Winners: top 4 gain 4 points, bottom 3 gain 2 points
Losers: top 5 players gain 1 point, last 2 players gains 0 points
(if losers of the bottom 2 did reach 1000 damage minimum they get 1 point, it promotes not going afk.)
(team killers lose 10 points and a temp ban from the mode 24 hours)

Bracket Elite: gain total 1200 points
Bracket Champion: gain total 1000 points
Bracket Gold: gain 800 total points
Bracket Silver: gain 400 total points
Bracket Bronze: gain 200 total points
Bracket Iron: gain 100 total points
Bracket not ranked: 10 battles required. (win all 10 battles you get placed to iron rank with 100 points, aka they give 10 points per win.)

  2. The new vehicle ban mechanic looks pretty interesting – it could add some extra tactical depth and force teams to adapt on the fly. It might also help balance out the stronger meta tanks and encourage players to run a wider variety of vehicles. That said, it’s important that the ban system doesn’t narrow the choices too much or make matches feel too predictable.
