Don’t be mistaken: Polly Lombardo may enjoy cracking the occasional joke, but when the situation calls for it, smashing a few heads is nothing new to him either. A seasoned gangster with an upbeat attitude, Polly quickly takes a liking to Tommy and tries to keep things light—even when the situation clearly isn’t suited for it.
However, life in the family weighs on him far more than he’s willing to admit. Usually friendly and easygoing, he struggles with deep depression and bursts of rage that can lead to destructive consequences.
Progression Stage 40: Tommy Angelo (crew member).
Everything Tommy Angelo has ever done—good or bad—he’s done for his family. But he never imagined where that would lead him. He was just trying to make ends meet as a taxi driver on the streets of Lost Heaven, until a chance encounter and a high-speed chase with Don Salieri’s men turned his life upside down. Now, drawn much deeper into crime and racketeering than he ever expected, Tommy has become a made man who earned the respect of those around him the hard way. But no matter what happens, family always comes first. Always.

Salieri’s best friend since their childhood in Sicily, Frank Colletti is a loyal consigliere who knows the Don better than anyone else. An experienced mediator and level-headed advisor, he serves as the family’s respectable front for dealings that are often far from respectable. He understands that bloodshed harms business, so whenever possible, he advises against it—partly to maintain client trust, but also because he genuinely cares about Tommy, Polly, and Sam. However, his deep knowledge of the family’s inner workings makes him a prime target for anyone with a grudge against Don Salieri.

Sam Trapani is exactly the kind of enforcer any Don could hope for: street-smart, disciplined, and fiercely loyal to the family code of honor. Carrying out Salieri’s orders across Little Italy and beyond, he’s used to shooting first and thinking… well, he’s learned it’s better not to think at all. Far more reserved and straightforward than his talkative partner Polly, Sam believes getting the job done efficiently is better than any words. He’s also driven by a strong sense of justice and won’t hesitate to point a gun at anyone he believes has treated him unfairly.

When it comes to taking harsh measures, the mask of a community patriarch falls away, revealing a ruthless mafia boss beneath.
