Historical Reference:

A project for a wheeled tank developed by Germany in the late 1960s. It proposed a fast and well-armed vehicle for scouting and engaging with enemy armored vehicles. Decent mobility was provided by a powerful and compact American V-shaped engine, a chassis with an 8×8 wheel layout, and independent suspension that allowed for tank-style traverse. The gun caliber was supposed to reach 90–105 mm. Some serious drawbacks were found at the design stage: dense component configuration, insufficient fuel tank volume and ammo rack space, as well as a high center of gravity, reducing stability during traverse and firing. The project was closed before a prototype was built.

  1. the puma is ten years overdue at this point. hard to care about a concept 5 painted grey.

  2. When will all these tankg come into the game? Like the Schwertwal is in Supertesting since last year, were rumored to be Assembly tanks in January and still nothing…

    1. How many new tanks do you need per year? I’m just saying, WG now brings about 10 or more new vehicles into the game every year. The question here is, did it make the game better?

  3. What’s different about this thing compared to the Concept 5 or the Ashigaru? Right, it does everything a little bit better. What does that tell us? WG started now earlier with their wheeled tanks, focusing on the concept of faster, higher, further. Until they realized they’d made the same mistake they always have.

    1. it’s also got 40 mm or less armor all over, so it gets 3x-overmatched by more than half of the guns it’ll face. very big downside.

  4. If there’s a TT branch with at least some real wheeled tanks connected to that, then, and only then, this thing would not be WG-retarded.
