Over the past few years, the crew system in World of Tanks has undergone several major changes. With Update 2.2, its evolution will be complete.
The result of our work is ten new skills and several quality-of-life improvements for players. The fundamentals remain unchanged, but we are now bringing the crew system closer to its original concept: it should be tactically rich, flexible, intuitive, and convenient for everyone.
Meet the New Skills!
Update 2.2 introduces 10 new skills — two for each main crew role.
New Skills: Key Points
Each role receives new tactical tools for effective use in battle. All skills are built around:
• Key moments in battle
• Situational advantages and thoughtful decision-making
• Different playstyles and vehicle types
For example, the commander can increase crew efficiency when the team is outnumbered or gain a temporary advantage after using a First Aid Kit. Other crew members have their own strengths, and each contributes to victory in their own way.
All existing skills remain unchanged, except for a significant improvement to “Reliable Position.” The new skills are considered final, though some of their values may be adjusted in the future.
Quality-of-Life Improvements
Alongside the new skills, several changes have been prepared to make crew management faster, easier, and more convenient.
Removal of Unneeded Crew Members

Using a special button in the Barracks, you can permanently demobilize crew members who do not have enough experience to learn their first skill. This action is optional, irreversible, and requires confirmation.
Skill Reset for Credits

Reset skills in the Tank Academy without losing experience for 100,000 credits — no more need to spend gold.
Crew Training in Premium Vehicles

Train crews in premium vehicles using training materials without transferring them to techtree vehicles.

The game desperately needed this…
its a p2w update no it did not..
More improvements !
…the game must be pretty much perfect by now…
Alternatively…
…more facking about doing nothing useful for the population, like politicians all over the world do
10 useless perks…
Mag Mastery, Second Chance, Bulletproof, and maybe Field Support if you’re Platoon Wolfpacking. The rest are super situational, bordering on niche and useless. Like Hold the Line will only trigger if you’re getting steamrolled KEKW
Girls and Panzer pedos incoming 😩
🤣🤣🤣🤣👌🏻
