WoT: “🇺🇸AHT-7” In-Game Screenshots & Historical Reference

🇺🇸 AHT-7 (Tier X tank destroyer, premium, mechanic: Reserve track) With the release of Update 2.2, the 🇺🇸 AHT-7 will be tested in random battles by supertesters and developers.
Historical Reference:

A late-1960s assault tank concept. Placing the engine in the rear turret bustle made it possible to significantly shorten the hull and use the freed weight reserve to reinforce the armor. The tank was intended to be armed with the British 165 mm short-barreled L9A1 gun, which would have required purchasing a license and organizing production in the United States. However, due to difficulties in standardization with the already fielded M48 Patton and M60 Patton tanks, the U.S. Army decided to discontinue further development of the vehicle.

  1. This is already in Tanks gg in 2.2 Public Test 3, and it does appear as premium, but for the moment it costs 100 gold. I hope it’s not the first premium tier X tank, because if it is, WoT will be jumping 100 sharks in rings of fire
