WoT: Updated Tank Armor Model Viewer in Update 2.2

With the new update, several highly requested parameters have been added to the armor viewer:

• Ability to select the tank’s turret and gun.
• Ability to rotate the turret and adjust the gun depression and elevation angles.
• The tooltip now displays penetration chance in %.

• New armor overlays added: Penetration Chance (live armor) and an option without overlay.
• Ability to select an attacking vehicle, along with its gun and projectile type, for a clearer understanding of the penetration chance against your tank.

This is not the maximum possible functionality for such a feature. However, the developers have added the most important parameters needed to better understand a tank’s armor.

As we mentioned earlier, the next step should be implementing a detailed history of penetrations and hits for each specific battle. The post-mortem camera alone is not sufficient, and players still have unanswered questions regarding certain hits.

  1. Wot has been going for almost 20 years now
and you still don’t know where the hell that last tank hit you.

I’m pretty sure if a 105mm shell hits your vehicle you would know the bit where it happened

It’s probably because they use a dodgy probability hitbox system for registering hits.

I stopped taking it seriously years ago after bouncing a couple of 122mm shells off a progettos bum.
