K 155 Projekt [🇸🇪 Sweden, SPG-10]
Historical Reference:
By the early 1960s, a clear vision had emerged of what a standard self-propelled gun for the Swedish Army should look like. One of the projects was designated VK 155. It was based on components of the Strv S tank, with a projected combat weight of around 46 tons. The vehicle was expected to reach speeds of up to 40 km/h. As for the artillery system, it was very similar to the AKV 151 (15.5 cm artillerikanonvagn), which featured a magazine-fed loading system that ensured a high rate of fire. The VK 155 project formed the basis of the production Bandkanon 1 self-propelled gun, which remained in service for several decades and performed well during its operational life.

Hmm, interesting. I guess LESTA aren’t afraid to experiment with arty, paralel to other classes (Assault USSR SPGs, arty rebalance, removing stun) and now adding (most likely) a Swedish arty line. It definitely will be intersting if WG do sth with arty, although it will probably lead to a lot more 2-3 arty per battle, which is frankly disguisting. Wouldn’t be surprised if WG add this swedish vehicle, but designate it as a TD 😛

More like it’s you, who stuffed your head in the sand. All I’m saying is that Lesta are experimenting with arty and stuff, while WG are afraid of it (and for a reason – EU/NA community is very reactive and vocal). I’m a fan of diversifying the tech trees even with arty, but only if arty is limited to 2 per game and you get 2-arty games only ~5% of the battles.
By no means am I glazing on Lesta, I really like our system of introducing tier 11s and tech tree tanks balancing. But every now and then it’s good to look around to see what others are doing.

I don’t know it but I wasn’t sure if WG would actually release a Tier 11 artillery. After the introduction of the Ares line, I’m absolutely certain that the Tier 11 artillery is coming. WG will never stop to making the game unbearable.
