The Pike is a Tier IX British assault heavy tank. Its 128 mm gun features a three-shell autoloader. The intra-clip reload time is 5 s, and the full reload time is 32 s. The combination of an autoloader, high one-shot damage (450 HP), and reliable armor makes the Pike dangerous in positional brawls. While the aiming time is long (3.2 s), you can make use of the Pike’s sturdy front to fully aim the gun at weak spots in an enemies’ frontal armor (the accuracy is 0.34).
The Pike offers acceptable mobility, with a top forward speed of 35 km/h. Its maximum gun depression of –9° allows for terrain-based play.
Why is wg killing T8?
T8 has reached it’s maximum capacity. Anithing you want to add there will either be as powerful as a T9 (BZ176, Bourrasque, EBR) or it will be totally irrelevant for buyers. The natural evolution is to step up to T9.
In order to sell a new premium tank has to be either:
-More powerful than it’s alternatives
-Offer a unique (and hopefully fun) mechanic
-Has to come in collaboration with something the buyer likes (Star Trek, Robocop, Duke Nukem, whatever)
Otherwise it’s not worth the money.

Prototipo 6 – better Progetto 46; Zwilling – better TS-54; Stridsyxa – better Lansen C; SFAC – massivelly better ISU-122-2; GST Turm – better Vipera with no autoloader; WZ-111 6 – better Renegade; IMT – better Pilot/Pershing and the like; heck, even KV-4 Turchaninov is a better KV-5, though, a lot less mobile.
Some tanks were attempts to be better than the existing alternative, but failed miserably – Obj. 168G was supposed to be a better Mutz (instead WG buffed Mutz), Kust was supposed to be an alterantive to Strv S1, but failed badly, I don’t know what ST-66 was supposed to be but for some reason it’s not a frequent-to-be-seen tank. And only Stitch and Brennos are left – they were given for free, so they are bad by default.
Nobody plays tier 8 😂😂
My two most favourite tanks are in T8 with only 1 tank known from supertest that enables remotely similar playstyle.
