Historical Reference:
A self-propelled gun with a casemate layout, combining high levels of protection and firepower within the smallest possible dimensions and a mass of up to 45 tons. One of the main goals of the vehicle’s development was to increase the gun’s vertical aiming angles without rotating the hull, which led to the design of a new fighting compartment layout. The project envisaged the installation of either a 105 mm or a 120 mm rifled gun. For the latter, a special muzzle brake was even designed.

During the development of the prototype, numerous shortcomings were discovered: mobility was fairly mediocre, while fuel consumption turned out to be extremely high. Installing large-caliber guns also proved difficult, as the barrel overhang exceeded four meters, creating problems when driving over rough terrain and requiring increased attention from the driver. In addition, the high weight and size of the 120 mm gun overloaded the front of the vehicle, leading to rapid wear and failure of the front suspension components. As a result, work on the project was discontinued.
